I wonder if we'll see Holmgren in D.C. next season? I read that he's ready to coach again. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing Gruden get the job. He could provide some much needed energy and enthusiasm that this team has lacked for a while now under Gibbs, and now Zorn.

There's rumors going around that Holmgren has contacted Synder. Remember that this is only a rumor!

              Well since you asked...

              - Blache refuses to talk to the media for the rest of the year.
              - Zorn completely blew all explanation of why this happened.
              - Portis and Sellers got in a fight bc Portis told Sellers he's not blocking well AND apparently Portis went to the coaches and recommended a lineup or playing time change bc of it.

Besides that, they'll be playing their 5th game in a row against a team without a win (Giants are one but interesting stat) and could go for 6 in a row if the Boys can beat KC.

The run-blocking hasn't been all that great, but (like everything else) I think thats more of a result of running the same run-plays from the same sets rather than being because of poor blocking.

wow...the dust balls are a rolling across the streets in here after this one.

The whole thing needs to be tore down guys. We simply can not win with Portis & Campbell on offense. The Offensive Line and the Depth on the OL is a disgrace. Every team we have played has not won a game, yet now we are 2 & 3. Pathetic. If we lose at home next week to an 0-5 Chiefs team I believe....I expect seats to be ripped from their borings and tossed on to the field. I have never been so indifferent to my favorite sports team. Never. That is what this ownership has done to this franchise. The class that was once the Washington Redskins has been completely removed. Any fan of this franchise who has not opened their eyes to this....wake up.

I don't mind losing if the team has made adjustments, plays a good game, and just gets beat, but the same problems have been with the team since day one and it doesn't seem like they've been addressed whatsoever.

Man, I'm about ready to put the paper bags over my head. Just bad football

Defense played well enough to win, Offense just can't get nothing going. You have to try changing something up. Hell put Collins in there and see what happen. Zorn not going to do that because Jason is his son

season is just over. nothing worse than your team being out of it before halloween. i like campbell, i do. i want him to succeed. he just has the same fatal flaw as a guy like leftwich. he cannot get rid of the ball on time due to his long delivery. not to mention the fact he can't make decisions fast enough making it even harder to get the ball off on time. he can't even throw a quick slant on time. sucks. i typically would say stick with him, but at this point:
                        1. the season is over
                        2. he won't be here next year
                        3. todd collins at least would give you your best chance to move the ball a little
all that adds up to him needing to be benched. with his skill set he just can't operate in this offense. no o line, quick passes/quick decisions that don't suit his makeup. do him a favor and pull the plug...(oh yeah, same line can be used for zorn at this point too...)

The offense really needs to apologize to the defense after every game. The defense is playing well enough to win. The offense is embarassing. I've always been a fan of Campbell and before the season started believed that he was ready to make the step to the next tier of NFL QBs. Nope......I was wrong. He has some nice skills but can't put everything together well enough to be an effective and successful NFL starting QB. He might eventually become that but I don't think it will happen in Washington. It's time for some changes.

The worst day of my life as a Redskins fan is the day Jack Kent Cooke died and opened the door for Danny "the Douche bag" Synder to take over.

Replacing the Campbell would be like

these dudes saying they need new paint jobs

It's ignoring every systemic problem with the Redskins to fix one component, that despite being average or below average, is possibly the best or second best player of our offense.

i get what you are saying but what is the point in keeping him in there. you aren't doing him any favors. at this rate he will be struggling to find work after this season as it is. if they keep running him out there behind that o-line he is going to seriously get hurt. i am advocating a change at qb for jason's sake. this team needs changes from the top down. obviously snyder isn't going anywhere (unfortunately) so the next step is cerrato. get rid of him, hire someone competent to do that job. let that person do his job and he can replace whoever he feels needs to be replaced and move on from there. that is how every organization worth a damn does it but snyder refuses to do it the right way, he insists on doing it his way. he is a terrible owner. i love the spending he is willing to do, he just needs someone to help him spend that money wisely. vinny doesn't have the balls to tell him a move isn't worth it (nor does he have the brains to realize a bad move when snyder is willing to make one). snyder is content with being the end all decision maker for a mediocre product, typical napoleon syndrome with that dude. marty had 1 season and after working out kinks had the team headed in the right direction. not saying they would have won a superbowl or anything, but they would have been COMPETENT. after the season snyder said he didn't think hiring someone to do the work was any fun so he fired marty. he will not change and thus neither will the outlook for this organization. they will go 3-13 and draft a WAY overrated sam bradford. they will hire shanahan cuz he will be the one coach willing to work under the existing management system with cerrato as the "gm". they will overpay an aging offensive lineman (or two) looking for their last big payday. portis will still be the starting rb w/betts backing him up. shanahan will say how he has seen big improvement from the 3 drafted pass catchers. blah, blah, blah. rinse, repeat, mediocrity, etc etc etc...
