Correct. He can get a little tired, but not that tired - huffing and puffing on the sideline on 3rd down when we need him in there. It's like this, Chris Cooley mentioned the other day that in the past 30 days, he had 2 days off. My response - deal with it. You're paid ridiculous sums of money merely to PLAY A GAME and BE IN SHAPE.

No, they're paid ridiculous sums of money for their talent. Its the same as a CEO pulling in six figures every year - he's paid for his talent and what he brings to the table - doesn't mean the man can't have a day off (or a play off) every now and then.

Like I said before. Our defense was on the field all day long, he's chasing all day because the Giants are running away from him. then when the offense do to get the ball, he had about 1 minute to get himself together then he's back on the field. Every DT in the leauge takes off, Casey Hampton takes off, even Nata need to get to the sidelines.. Big AL will be alright

Being in shape has nothing to do with getting tired. I'm sure that he is in better shape than 90% of the worlds population at a given time. He got worn down, first game since January where he played all 4 quarters. Nevermind the fact the Brandon Jacobs averaged less than 3 ypc in the game or that the Giants as a team averaged just over 3.

It was clearly the fact that he was tired, not the soft coverage and poor tackling in the secondary that the Giants were able to move the ball on the skins especially on 3rd down.

I think he's out of shape (usual preseason DT stuff) but it's not like he didn't play well. Like I said when we signed him, if Carter and Daniels can't get pressure now with then it's time for them to go.

I feel like Zorn is in a jam this week. Getting the win is not enough, he needs to win convincingly or else the press will be on his a** even more.

                I can't believe we haven't scored 30pts since 2007, ugh.

Didn't know that. Thats a long time. I think the Skins win 27-17. I don't care if we only win by one point. I just want a victory.

                    Feast on this:

As stated on the John Thompson show yesterday afternoon...

The Redskins are favored by 10 pts @ home over St Louis.

However, under Jim Zorn they've NEVER BEAT ANYONE by double digits.

that number is ridiculous. i guess if the home team gets 3 right off the bat then it is really a touchdown but still too much. i think the skins win by a field goal. which probably means they lose. if the redskins are up by anything less than 3 and the rams get the ball last, it will be a wrap...

Jim Zorn's been the coach of a mediocre team in the best division in football for 17 games.

Using "NEVER" to denote a year is silly.

We'll more than make up for it by losing Rogers because he "DON'T GET THE PICKS!!!!!!"

for real man. it will be a long season. this week, playing a TERRIBLE team, they somehow managed to regress??? zorn is just horrible at playcalling. i am sick of the give up plays inside your own 10 yard line as well. this season so far they have had 3 posessions start inside their own 10 and they have run the ball 8 times, passed once. they get inside the other team's 10 yard line and they NEVER even try to throw a goal line fade. not once. don't we have a few guys with some size. never heard of the cat from s.l. but hell, they had the balls to throw one up to him, easy TD. not us, we are the redskins. our pass inside the 10 is coming from any one but the qb. inexcusable.

jesus, these are things other teams, like every other team does routinely. not that they are all successful, but at least they try. how about the damn half back pass on the goal line. EVERYONE saw that coming from a mile away. teams in the nfl always seem to take on the personality of their coach. unfortunately for the skins, their coach is a ball-less *****. furthermore they need to stop playing "buddy" ball, you know, where you keep guys around and play them because you like them. my friggin' flag football team doesn't even do that ****. we let doughty hang around because they like him. we let westbrook make the team because they like him. thank god thrash got hurt cuz lord knows had he not and retired he'd be our third wr because they like him. i don't care who likes these guys they can't play. call a spade a spade, make a change and move on. zorn better realize real quick that he is the one on the hook here. he is the one going to get fired and the players will still be here collecting checks. cp is a shell of what he once was. he has ZERO vision in the hole. he just hammers it in there and gets all he can, admirable i admit but not a feature back anymore. and guess what, snyder likes him so zorn can't bench him and we will have him for years to come because you can't take the cap hit it would take to get rid of him.

i am done. they are my team. can't just up and change teams. but in terms of having any hope for this franchise, i have no hope as long as snyder is the owner. now we get to sit back and die a slow death thru a 4 win season. then after that the owner will hit the reset button AGAIN, new coach, new qb. he will WAY overpay cowher, or gruden, or (god help us) shanahan. by way overpaying him the new coach will have the hammer ultimately and know that he gets his money even if he gets fired so he will not coach his *** off, leading to more mediocrity, more losing, more of the same as it has been since snyder bought the team. sorry for the rant but i am just so pissed right now and so frustrated.

i will admit i liked the way jc played, he played like an athlete. 'bout time he stopped playing the way zorn wanted him to play and just ran around and made some plays. f-zorn, if he thinks he has a better qb on the roster let him play him. that is how jason played and i was glad to see it. he will go somewhere next season and a real coach will make a player out of him.

oh and just to re-iterate what i said on this board last week, detroit won't get to 0-20, they will get their first win since 2007 next week. mark it down...
