Man I would love it if the Skins draft went like that, but you know it won't.

Yup. Chances of us going QB first round are very slim, so I expect us to go OL, DL, LB, or WR.

If that's the case, and we stay at 10, here's who I'd want:

OL - Tyron Smith (although I don't think we should go OL this high)
      DL - Marcell Dareus/Cameron Heyward
LB - Robert Quinn, Aldon Smith
      WR - Julio Jones

Out of all of those, I'd want them in this order:

      Jones-Quinn-Smith-Dareus-Heyward

I'm on the fence with Smith because I think he's the best OT in this draft, although he's a RT. I'm concerned that if we re-sign Jammal Brown, he might not stay healthy, so if we do go with Smith, we'd have bookend tackles for the next 5-7 years a la Samuels-Jansen.

It sucks there is no CBA, I wanna see this "new front office" handle business. Honestly with our current roster and potential for huge roster turnover I want them to get away from the 10th pick and aquire more picks then start going "best available" route for our schemes.

I agree. I'm hoping by some miracle there is one between the Super Bowl and combine. Long shot, but it's possible.

I really want to trade down, but there's no sure thing someone will want to trade up.

Yep. Poor fit in the 3-4. People look at his stats and say oh he's good! LOL. No. In the 4-3, yes. But not here anymore.

                  No, they don't.

His hands are OFF. He said it himself, as did Bruce Allen.

Snyder's becoming the owner we all hoped he would eventually.

It's the Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan show...err...Mike Shanahan show now.

Landry, Hall, Orakpo. I think that this will be a whole new defense next season, lots of turnover, lots of change.

And if he's there at 10, you can add Robert Quinn to that list.

                            Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread

NEW YORK (AP) -- Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has sued Washington City Paper over a column he says defamed him and had anti-Semitic references.
Snyder filed the lawsuit against the weekly paper and its parent company, Atalaya Capital management LP, in New York State Supreme Court on Wednesday. The suit seeks at least $1 million in damages for each of the two causes of action, plus punitive damages.
The cover story entitled "The Cranky Redskins Fan's Guide to Dan Snyder," has an altered photo of the owner with horns and a beard drawn in pen. The suit claims the weekly newspaper used "lies, half-truths, innuendo and anti-Semitic imagery to smear, malign, defame and slander" Snyder.
The suit also says the newspaper reported Snyder engaged in criminal conduct by "forging names."
Telephone calls to the paper Wednesday night were not immediately returned, but publisher Amy Austin, in a letter to readers posted earlier Wednesday said, "We believe we have the facts right."
In a post on the City Paper's Web site Wednesday, managing editor Mike Madden asserted the image "is meant to resemble the type of scribbling that teenagers everywhere have been using to deface photos for years," he wrote. "The image of Snyder doesn't look like an 'anti-Semitic caricature' - it looks like a devil."
Snyder will contribute any monetary damages received to groups that assist the homeless, the lawsuit said.

                              http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6115839

WASHINGTON -- Washington Redskins kick returner Brandon Banks is one of two men who were injured in a stabbing outside a D.C. nightclub.

Banks suffered only superficial wounds, a source told The Washington Post.

A Redskins spokesman confirmed that Banks was injured in the incident, which occurred shortly after 3 a.m. ET Saturday. He was admitted to a hospital in stable condition.

Banks was released from the hospital Saturday afternoon, a source told The Post.

D.C. police said a man pulled a knife after a verbal argument and stabbed two men. Police did not release the names of the victims but say the other victim was hospitalized in critical condition. The suspect was taken into custody.

Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie says the team is aware of the incident and is gathering all of the facts.

It happened on the street outside The Park at 14th, an upscale nightclub.

Banks, a rookie out of Kansas State, played in 13 games for the Redskins and amassed 1,155 yards and a touchdown as a kick returner.
That's two redskins in the news this offseason, for non football related happenings.

Redskins not likely to retain Jammal Brown since he wants left tackle money.
Don't be surprised when they make a play for Ryan Harris whenever free agency starts.
