Former Skins GM Vinny Cerrato was on the Mike Wise Show earlier today in case anyone missed it. From a pure entertainment standpoint, I miss Vinny LOL:

My favorite part was that the Skins would've been back to the playoffs if Gibbs kept calling the plays. Logical next question... "Well why did he turn play calling duty over to Al Saunders?" The media of course! The media said he was out of touch with today's NFL and he listened to all that and decided to bring in Saunders.
Really? And that's a GOOD explanation?Comment

Looking at QB's if that is where they are going. I like Andy Daulton if we can get out of the 10th spot say 17-21 and get a second round pick.Moderator

I assume the 2nd round pick would be for Dalton because he will still be around in the 2nd. I like Dalton as well but think Ponder may have the biggest upside. But if they can trade down to 17-20 what position do you think they look. Id say maybe WR Little from UNC.Texas A&M Aggies
Denver Broncos
Colorado Avalanche

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
Whenever free agency does start, look for the Redskins to go after Ryan Harris. Denver's not retaining him. Also, they're going to probably look at Davin Joseph. If that happens, the right side of the offensive line would be set for several years.

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
So PFT has reported on two different occasions that the Redskins are trying to trade up and trade down from the #10 spot. Speculation is that if they trade down, they want Jake Locker, and if they trade up, they want Blaine Gabbert.
Anything from Redskins' beat writers to corroborate this? How would you all feel about taking a quarterback first? (I ask as a Cowboys fan keeping tabs on the other teams in the division)Comment

Jake ****ing Locker. This has Heath Schuler written all over it. I can only go by what I saw on the field and this past year this guy looked bad for large stretches of the season.

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
I'd rather give Orakpo some help or get some young blood on the o-line before drafting a QB.

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
That report about the Skins moving is COMPLETELY 100% FALSE; don't believe it.
They're at a standstill nearly with the QBs. Mike wants Locker; Kyle wants Dalton. They're leaning towards Dalton. If they get Quinn at 10, they're going to trade back into the first round to try and get one of them.

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
I got two words for ya fellas Julio Jones! The offense suffered more than the D did last year and a WR of his caliber doesn't fall to the skins too often. My teams:
NFL:Washington Redskins
NCAAFB:Notre Dame
NBA:Los Angeles Lakers
NCAABB:Georgetown Hoyas
MLB:Washington Nationals

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
And he may still not, he's being pegged as Cleveland's guy by a lot of people. Not everyone, but quite a few people. If he gets past the Browns, though, I don't doubt he'll be a Redskin.Comment

Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread
Julio isn't in the Redskins plans unless he drops to wherever they trade down to.
