I think you've got me wrong though. I love McNabb... still do. McNabb in Philly, with Reid, and the playbook he knows inside and out, was still a quality QB when he was traded. He wasn't going to be for much longer though, and he needed to have more of an open mind to succeed in DC... and Minny apparently. That fiasco was a large part on the Shanny's, but McNabb played his role too. Definitely enough that he shouldn't be throwing them under the bus to the media like that.
After watching some more highlights, I see your point. Andy Reid utilized the receivers to run a lot of deep routes, so all McNabb had to do was step back and throw. Clearly McNabb didn't have the same luxury in players during his stay in Washington and Minnesota to do similar things.

I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find of a lot of plays where he scrambled to buy time, but here they are:

I still thought McNabb played well in his final season in Philly, but I guess you're right. The heavy use of his big arm masked his diminishing scrambling ability.

However, to me it became more apparent that his accuracy gotten even worse in Washington and he looked noticably slower in Minnesota.

Yeah, I knew McNabb was not going to be playing at a high level much longer. I was hoping he would play out his final year in his contract in Philadelphia, so he could at least have one more solid chance to win the Super Bowl.

These days, I'm feeling more disappointed with McNabb. The news of his poor work ethic in Washington and Minnesota, and now his recent rants about Tebow and the Shanahans. Sounds like an entirely different guy from a person who used to say cliché things, but at leasted seemed classy.

Alright, I'm going to try to not talk about McNabb in here anymore because this discussion is more appropiate in the Eagles thread and of course both teams are division rivals.

I really want to see the white jersey to compare the sleeve stripes. Looks like they made a minor change to those.

I don't like the ribbon on the front of the collar that off-shoots from the NFL shield. The alternating material is kind of distracting.

Doesn't really bother me, it is a little distracting but it is Nike so if that's all they did. Thank goodness we don't have the stupid two color collar.

That said this was in Lukas' article...

There's one big caveat, however: No alternate jerseys were shown Tuesday. Word through the grapevine is that several of them are in the works, including one for the Redskins. No word yet on when we'll see these (maybe at the draft?), but it might be that Nike and the NFL have decided to stick with conventional primary uniforms and push the envelope with the alternates.

I certainly hope, I was hoping that they incorperated the spear into the uni's instead of the indian head. I hope the have a black or Gold alternate.

Sorry, Rob. Last one for me too but I've gotta respond to be fair.

We're on the same page. I didn't mean he had a "bad" season his last year in Philly. It just explains how he looked SO different in a different system, and one he refused to try to embrace. And everything I'm saying is very "matter of fact" here. Everything you wrote at the end is EXACTLY how I feel about him. I still love McNabb. I wish he'd finished his career in Philly, even without the ring. It just would've made sense, and I don't think this ugly cloud would've formed, even if part of it is peaking at the hidden truth. I want nothing but the best for the guy, but he needs to stfu before he begins losing tons of respect around the country.

Now I'm done... won't talk another QB in this thread unless his name can be shortened to RG3 (that should cover both of the main ones for next year).

That's cold. RG3 better only apply to one player on the Redskins and if Rex even imagines himself to enter the picture I will pull a Dexter on him.

Just got my copy of ESPN the MAG (We print it) and I'm loving the cover..
                            It's the NFL Draft Preview

                            The Number
                            RG3

Pretty cool article about him (and his name) inside also.

What's this about RGIII being selfish? Bleacher Report said an NFL Scout thinks RGIII is selfish and doesn't care about anyone except himself.

Honestly, I believe it.. why wouldn't you? He seems like he's full of himself and he hasn't thrown a pass

Tannehill seems like a solid bet for a QB, and he throws better then Luck/RGIII. Makes pro like throws but just needs to develop a little better.

Check out Tannehill's interview, what you think about making that move?
