Thanks PPM......Man, im praying by some shape or form the o-line get it together. It don't look good for us. I think there is quite a few things wrong but there not revealing it.

The sad thing is Mike Williams will make the team just because we lack depth.
He did look terrible out there at training camp the whole O-line did I seriously don't think we can get a good read on the d-line until they play a few preseason games.

That's tough though bc the offense is going against the defense so how bad does the offense look if it's the defense looking good? The line is definitely a HUGE question mark though and lacks serious depth. If the D can play up to expectation then hopefully a healthy Portis will be the main key (he seems happy so far in camp for a change... lets see if that changes when he's asked to actually play in preseason games).

You may be right, but it could always be like the second half of last year when opposing teams stacking the line against Portis daring us to beat them through the air and praying our D doesn't get to tired. The line being a question mark for a second straight year is unexceptable to me. We all want Campbell to suceed be he can't with this line. I think we need to look past Jason Campbell and start placing the Blame where it belongs at the feet of Cerrato and Synder.

2nd half of last year the line was banged up. Just saying that's a little different than the healthy line not being able to get it done, but the truth is they have ZERO depth there so it is still an issue (and they've already got a few nicks).

I've always put the blame on Vinny and Dan. They needed help in the passing game (and I still have faith that at least one or two of Kelly, Thomas, Davis will pan out) but they didn't need to blow half the draft on all those guys. The Skins have needed oline depth for years. But if the line can stay relatively healthy I think they'll be able to run... if they can run (with Portis) they'll be able to pass enough. The Oline is just scary right now though, like an axle held together with duck tape.

The guy who's tried to put together fanatsy teams since he bought the team. I give Snyder a lot of credit. He's grown A LOT since his first couple of years. And people criticize his spending but the Skins have never hit the "cap hell" everyone predicts from year to year so I think what people consider a negative (the way the big contracts look on the surface) is really a positive (contracts never become the problem they appear and it brings free agents and media attention to the team), but his next step of "growth" is realizing that everything starts with the O line.

I wanna know so bad what is the craze about Colt Brennen. Do Redskin fans really think he is better then Jason Campbell at this very moment?....I can't even watch Training Camp Daily on Comcast Sports Net because of all the crazy text messages they scroll across the screen. I mean we live in the DC metro area, I can understand the Ravens text messages, but Steelers,Eagles, and Cowboy's fans let there text get across...Just mind bogling.

It's the old QB story. JC hasn't quite developed into the Franchise QB that people expected following 13-0 at Auburn and the skins trading up to get him. Mix that in with Collins coming in and running Saunders' offense (Which he had been in for a decade) way way better than JC did during the last play-off run. Then Colt came from Hawaii where he threw for 1,000,000 yards and looked good in pre-season games against 3rd and 4th teamers and practice squad guys. So the dilusional fans have convinced themselves that Brennan is ready to lead the skins to the promise land. Everyone loves the 3rd string QB, until he takes meaningful snaps and then they see why he is/was the 3rd string QB. It's the same old story.

The funny part is there really are redskins' fans who look past the terrible Oline play and injuries that slowed down Portis and say that Colt Brennan could've done better last year. Nevermind the fact that he was transitioning from the Run & Shoot to the WCO.

There are also a few social issues too, but the majority of the people who "understand" football know that JC gives the skins the best chance to win.

That is atleast how I see it. Either way this is going to be a big year for Jason Campbell one way or another.

lol... is he getting 2nd string snaps on Thursday? I know they were saying he's in a "real" battle for the spot this year. I'd like to see what he can do against some starters. It'd probably be better if he didn't until they hit a defense a little worse than the Ravens I guess.

The longer he is kept from real NFL defense the greater his trade value will be....
