anybody see the segment on the cbs pregame with casserly? he showed a handful of plays from the chiefs game that proved it isn't the playcalling it is the passer. there were numerous times where jc had dudes running wide open across the middle of the field at like 8 yards and he pumped to them, then threw to the flat to betts for 2 yard gains. casserly was screaming "throw the ball!!!" he is just skiddish right now and doesn't fit the offense and there is no where to go but down believe it or not. he is regressing in the offense and there is no where to turn. sucks. does vinny have jeff garcia's phone number or what???

Totally agree with you. I guess he'll finish out the season as the starter, seeing he's our best QB on the roster. Sucks

He made some excellent points in his analysis. I couldn't really defend JC after that. Like I said I like the guy, but I am resigned to the fact that this is his last year in DC. I also have no confidence that our front office will bring someone in that will be better. Bradford, No. McCoy, No. Brennan, No. Collins, No. They also can't draft a rookie QB without first drafting an offensive tackle. Oh well. 10 more games left this year. Shouls be interesting to say the least.

There are hundreds of insults you could lob toward Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder (literally), but this may be the worst: Things have gotten so bad this year that some of the team's fans will be rooting against the 'Skins in tonight's Monday Night home game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It doesn't get much worse than that.

The thinking is that if the Redskins win after a week in which he stripped Jim Zorn of playcalling duties and handed them to a guy who joined the team three weeks ago, it will only embolden Snyder. He's always had a "me against the world" attitude, so a victory could further that refrain. You can picture him squawking to Vinny Cerrato about it tomorrow: "You see? YOU SEE?! We won! We know what we're doing. Not the Washington Post, or ESPN, or those snotty fans. We do! Our plan worked! (Chest bumps Cerrato, knocking over the replica Super Bowl trophy on his desk.) Now, get me Don Coryell's number and start scouting college wide receivers, STAT!"

FWIW I won't be cheering for the eagles, but man I hope this sends some kind of message. (it won't) Next thing up is the brown paper bags, but I thought those came out BEFORE you cheered for the other team.

at this point there is no cheering this team for me either way, for or against. i just sit there, watch the inevitable (lack of scoring/offense), and laugh really. i have just resigned myself to what this team and organization have become and can only laugh at what i am watching. i guess being as the organization is a joke, laughing is appropriate at this juncture...

Same. I'm done defending him. He's so shook of the pass rush that it's affecting his already poor mechanics.

I still say to this day that we should have drafted Jackson. Not only did we pass him up for a similar speed WR (Thomas) and another pass-catching TE (Davis) but we have to face him twice a yr for who knows how long.
