Re: I have my copy of TW09
Few questions...
1. How many courses? 16?? No Firestone?!?! That has to be a DL course cuz they had videos during the tourney a few weeks ago...
2. Are there different times of day? Sunrise, Midday, Afternoon, etc??
3. Different weather/temperatures?? Fog? Clouds? Rain?
4. How does the dynamic attributes work? Bad putt, putting goes down? Or is it overall for the round?
i havent played enough to notice diff weather, but the shanghai course which kicks off the pga tour mode, had a nice early morning haze to it.
not sure if it changes
for course options in game modes the wind can be set to
CALM
BREEZY
WINDY
GALE FORCE
as far as dynamic attributes
it seems to go up after each round onlyLast edited by neuroticomic; 08-23-2008, 01:56 PM.Comment

Re: I have my copy of TW09
Unfortunately that putting system was only in Links 2004. Tiger you still have to set the distance.STEAM PROFILE: STEAM_0:1:39676753Comment

Re: I have my copy of TW09
Seeing and feeling my golfer put the same stroke on a 3 foot putt that's used on a 48 foot putt is not only goofy looking, it's also counter-intuitive. I still can't believe that a next-gen golf game uses a work-around interface system that's this archaic!? I would think that at least at Tiger Woods hardest level of difficulty, the player would be required to use his touch and intuition to regulate the putter thoughout it entire range, save for maybe an 18-24" tap-in "gimmie".
You allude to Links 2004's putting system and it was and is light years ahead of what we're forced to settle for in a golf game that's got a 5 year technology curve on it. Links 2004's putting system wasn't perfect, but it hasn't been sniffed by anyone else on a console using an analog interface. I would have loved to have seen where Links 2004's system could have gone with more refinement and tuning, especially on today's hardware!Last edited by OnlookerDelay; 08-24-2008, 02:15 AM.Duke Football? Re: I have my copy of TW09
unfortunatly..they will never do this until another next gen system emerges...they should have did this from the change of last gen to now..they chose not to because they know people will buy the game anyway...bastards!Comment

Re: I have my copy of TW09
So...
What is new with this game?
I mean I see 6 pages of threads here, and I haven't really learned anything about the game.
All my questions are were either not known, or not verifiable...
Did you just buy the game and leave it in the car??Comment

Re: I have my copy of TW09
I feel the same as you neuroticomic. I have been so busy with work and my sons football games that I have not even touched the game except for a play now game that lasted all of 10 minutes because I had to go to bed for work and I have had the game since Friday. Some people do have lives that do not revolve around video games. Peace!!!!!Comment

Re: I have my copy of TW09
Do us a favor buddy if you have the game and aren't gonna post anything about it, why tell us you have it? I think it's fair to say that that's what we expected from this thread when it supposed to be about what the people who have the game think about it. What's the point of telling us you have it? Why not just post something about a game when you are ready to talk about the game. I don't understand why you feel a need to say you have it and then leave it at that. OS would never survive if that's what people did. I hope you see my point. Peace. The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment
