What is everyone’s best guess?

Do we get a single screenshot this week?
A video?

…or just nothing

My gut feeling is nothing. A year out seems to be a bit too far to be promoting a golf game in advance. I'm curious to see what they come up with, but I'm a bit pacified that I'll have a new 2K golf game to tide me over until we start getting news of the next EA game, and later, its release.

It'll be cool to have to rival, next-gen golf games going back and forth for the first time in 7 years. I'm counting RMPGAT in that statement, but honestly, I wrote it off in less than three months of play. It made for some great looking screen shots though!

True that... but did they really have anything to promote materially at that time? I'd say they got something in code right now, but it's probably nothing that's close enough to the final product that they'd want to float it at this time? This is another case where I hope to be proven wrong!

It hasn't been announced yet, but I'd be willing to bet that with Tiger Woods in partnership with them, and Tiger playing for the first time since his wreck, 2K will announce it this week during the Masters. They've got to start getting something out of the now over one year old contract they signed with him.

I just got an email from the 2k newsletter and it almost stopped my heart, until I re-read the subject. 2k21 is "on sale this week" lol. Not a good sign that they are just taking advantage of Tiger and the Masters to try to drain a last few sales. Unlikely we will see anything from them about 2k23 this week.

I guess I have some slight hope that this is just a crass commercialism attempt at selling a few more right before they give us some teasers for an August release.

Seriously though, I hope 2K takes advantage and really uses his likeness more than just on the cover and a playable character. Shoot let me play a career mode with him. TW13 had a pretty neat mode.
