If it's like PGA TOUR 2K21, it will at least have an option to disable vsync! It's had that advantage over the next-gen console versions for two years now!

I wonder if that is cut scene only or if they will walk the course with you. Regardless pretty awesome add.

I didn’t see that picture of MJ earlier but that is pretty cool as well.

I’m irrationally excited about all of the new gear (Nike, TW Collection) being in the game.

Great question green94! I'd like to know whether they walk the course with you as well? Furthermore, I'd like to know if you can see your playing companions in your group when they should be in view? If my playing companion hit their drive 5 yards further than me, and 10 yards to the right, I'd like to see them standing their sizing up their approach shot in my peripheral vision. All of that would add a lot of presence and atmosphere to the game.

After a couple years and with Tiger onboard I was hoping for a bit more

Adding 3C is good to see to broaden the base (personally don’t use 3C), but OnlookerDelay is right to worry about how it will be handled.

If you can’t very specifically limit things all over by swing type, you get endless problems and conflicts. It seems to happen with every serious golf game that has analog+click swing options.

After a couple years and with Tiger onboard I was hoping for a bit more

Adding 3C is good to see to broaden the base (personally don’t use 3C), but OnlookerDelay is right to worry about how it will be handled.

If you can’t very specifically limit things all over by swing type, you get endless problems and conflicts. It seems to happen with every serious golf game that has analog+click swing options.

I believe this is a game to hold people off until 2K25.

I believe with 2K25, we will see a true next gen game with a new engine.

This is what 2K21 should have been in my opinion.

Well, You are probably not the target audience then Scag, They are trying to appeal to the younger crowd. I like it! Makes the game look less like an old white boomers game.

This will do great with the “Non golfer” crowd.

He was also used in marketing for 2K21. He did an awkward interview with Justin Thomas before 2K21 released.

I think these are just 2K cross-promotional marketing things, since they also release WWE games. Seems that's why Michael Jordan is in here...since he's a big part of NBA 2K23, too.

As an executive producer, Tiger said so in the video. He envisioned it as bringing a new generation of kids into golf.

I’m going to punch out.

Glad many are excited. This is way less than I was hoping for (needing) to be super interested, as compared to 2k21, so I’ll mostly leave the floor for others to discuss.

Maybe, but there’s still MANY weeks left until release.

There could be another major announcement of info as they could Drip it to us, rather than a full announcement at once.

- Specifics about the number of licensed courses included and the names of a few new ones.
- The number of playable pros, and names of a few of them, too.
- that 3-click is in
- caddies are in
- some new adds to gear/clubs (for example, the press release mentions Cobra clubs...these were not in PGA 2K21)

We also learned that there's no cross-play, and that the "consumables" are in.

So while what was leaked was a decent overview, we did get more specifics today. It sure does seem like more specifics will be coming later, however, since gameplay changes, designer changes, career mode changes, etc. were not done in depth, which is too bad.

Same old engine, same awful player models (you see knock kneed Tiger in trailer?)….
Still very much a last gen game that’s essentially a DLC pack for 2k21.

That’s fine if one already loved 2k21, but as you know I really didn’t …

Anyhow. Not here to go round and round.
