My understanding is that the "Deconstruction" of the fittings means you essentially sell them for VC. So I would assume you could just Deconstruct every fitting you have earned, get all that VC, and then start over with zero fittings in your collection. I have not done this at all, so I may be wrong here.

You would then just have to keep playing and earn them all over again. I also think you can also reset your career mode, so that you'd be able to play thru rivals and sponsors again to get the fittings that come with leveling up there.

If you wanted to do this with your skills, it costs 500 VC to totally reset them, so you could basically do that and have a total blank slate with no skills in play, no fittings attached to any of your clubs, and everything set to the default levels.

Thanks. So this is what happened. The game took over an hour to reinstall much longer than previously. It didn't take and made matters worse actually. I have my handicap my VC as little as it is now since I used it all up and all my clubs have reset to default. I even had to redo the club appearances and choose my bag over again. Golfer too. What I want to do is to be able to get all my fittings back like the way they were before I messed it up. I would get a ton of VC and fittings just by playing pick up and play local matches. I'll see what I can do by selling. You don't get much though and I have to do all the clubs grips shafts and heads. Kinda funny this all happened to someone who had no interest in any of this in the first place.

I'll check that out, I'm not sure I remember doing that. Do you know how to make sure the pin placement is the same for both players as well? I haven't found that yet.

Your tip seems to have fixed both the pin placement and the tees. I was doing something wrong. I played 3 holes of a local match with my wife's guest player as the 2nd player, and everything matched up perfectly. Now I just need to test it out when I play my friend online. Maybe someone can help here. I made numerous mistakes with the use of fittings upgrades exchanges deconstruction the whole 9. So I would just like to start the game fresh. I am in the process of reinstalling the game. I have tried deleting all the saves in the game. When I go back to see if the saves were deleted they were but when I fire up the game again it is still showing my VC and fittings as well as my choice of golf bag.

Since I already received these fittings in the game I don't think I can get them again. Anything I can do so far as getting a fresh start other than what I have already done? New gamertag didn't work either. On PS4.

I was looking to get epic fittings. I started from the bottom, working my way up to trade for them. I could be wrong but I think I've only really gotten the heads--I know I haven't gotten any epic shafts; I either have just about all heads or all grips (I think it's heads).

I can't delete the save file even changed gamer tag to no avail so basically I am screwed. I have no VC now Level 50 so there is no way to get enough VC to equip whatever fittings I have left. Playing local matches and restarting career only is getting me ball sleeves and once in a great while a common fitting. No VC to Speak of and I would need approx 5000 VC now. Can't believe I just can't delete the save file and start over. I wonder if I would have this problem if I were to get a PS5 and get the game for that.

can i ask what slider settings people are using in career mode, i have it on hard difficulty but i can be 15 shots behind the leader but be 10th!

mine are: cpu skill 83%, 85 too much
event deviation 55
round skill deviation 10
cpu attendance 90

Yeah like half a dozen times. I can even go back to the area where you can see all of your games some kind of manager forget now but I can delete all of the files for the game come back to that area see the game not even listed anymore but when I fire up 23 again my Level is there and my VC and fittings are still there. My character isn't my bag is but the clubs are all HB default. This was a problem with earlier versions of the game and the developers were at a loss as to what to do back then too.
Created another account for Playstation but obviously they wanted me to buy the game again as it was locked.
Not the end of the world obviously but I wonder whether the fittings I exchanged or sold will come available again as I play through.

Did not play much career so I don't know. Did you receive fittings and money as you went through career or just clothes balls and clubs?

In career mode, you get fittings and golf ball sleeves from just playing your rounds, as well as from defeating rivals and leveling up sponsorships. You'll also get some VC along the way, too.

And once you defeat all the rivals, you keep going back thru them, getting a random reward each time to beat them again. It could be a fitting, golf balls, or more VC.

Didn't make the cut in CC-K after going 6 over in first 2 rounds. Did go ahead and knock out the final 2 rounds for fun. Ended up 11 over for the 4 rounds. Felt like I struck the ball pretty well but putting is still a thorn in my side and just can't take advantage of the scoring opportunities.

I'm guessing a little sandbagging went on in the qualifying tournament. Lol The top ten in my flight are all -15 or better with the top 3 at -24. This course is is definitely easier than the qualifying course but that's s a big difference. Either way I need to get better. Lol

My biggest knock on this game for me is how dark the players look and some of the lighting. Just can’t seem to get things right up to this point.

Is anyone noticing a difference in your ability to make putts depending upon what build you choose? I was playing Rhythm now went to Powerhouse to make up for distance loss. I don't seem to be much less accurate hitting. Couldn't putt worth a damn with any build I chose so Powerhouse is it. I think I make more 40 footers than 15 footers. 5-10 foot sliders forget it I might make 1 in 4.

Make sure you play in performance mode not quality. It's in the settings.
