yes, since it's stuck to a profile, not a 360. You can move the save, but you'd have to take your friends profile.

I suppose at the very least, you could gift all the cars to your other profile.

I have my Live account set up on my friend's 360, so I assumed I'd be able to copy it over to my new 360 and use it under the same account. But, it won't let me copy it to the memory card in the first place, so I'm guessing it's just not possible unless I get one of those hard drive transfer kits.

no, forza 2 is one of the games that locks a gamesave to a profile. The transfer kit will allow you to backup a gamesave on your pc, but you still can't really copy the save off the 360 in the usual way.

You have to actually take the profile it's saved under from the xbox 360 dashboard and move it to a memory card. Then you move it back onto the other 360. The save will follow it. The 360 won't let you copy many game saves.

          Re: Forza 2 Discussion

After playing this game for almost a month will all of the assists on, I tried a few races with everything off (except I left auto transmission on) and had a ton of fun with it. It's a lot harder, but so much more enjoyable. Now I can't wait until the next time I get to play so I can keep improving with each race.

Just thought I'd share this late revelation with you guys. I'd love to get involved with some OS racing nights if the interest is still there once I get better and get a few cars that will I can be competitive with.

Yeah, that's too bad. I guess I'll just run with randoms and hope I don't get the idiots who like to see who can make the biggest crash.

I've been racing with no assists from the start. It's the only way to ride.

I would host on a regular basis, but there hasn't been any activity with this game as of late. So I've resorted to test driving super cars and race cars from time to time at the Ring. But let me know where there is a lobby full of people racing with no assists, and I'm there.

I still race this online all the time so add me as a friend if you'd like. I usually race with assists on to keep up with the glitchers, but the only assist I truly need is auto.

I'm looking to possibly get this game. Are there still a fair amount of good racers around, OS and otherwise?? I just like the fact that I can bring my own car/paintjob/perfomance settings/ and see if I can compete with others online. Is it still fun for those who still play??

I got the full 1k from this game, and my 2nd POS 360 cracked the disk. I swapped it out at blockbuster, so I have a new forza 2 disk. I probably won't start playing it again until they add more tracks though

I still think it's fun and like I said I play it a lot online. I've finished career mode so there's really no reason to play single player anymore.

There's still a few OSers that play, even guys that don't post in this thread. But overall there's still a ton of people that play it online. I would say if you like sim racing games and XBL, this game will really pull you in.

I'm about to attempt to enter the world of tuning. I raced with this guy last night who had different tuning setups for each track to maximize his cars potential and that's definitely something I need to try even though I don't know the first thing about it.

Thats good to hear. Have any of you guys done the drive train and engine swaps and what not. I would love to come rolling out on the track with a seemingly weak looking car only to have it have a suped up engine and drive train from another car. How deep is the performance upgrades and everything. That is what has really interested me, is all the performance tweaks.

you can make some cars AWD and max out HP in the class. However, they're kinda cracking down on making any car that is a real surprise to what it should be doing.

The lotus elan and charger are two cars that you could have done what you wanted, but that was before they became well known. I believe you could have squeezed 1000 hp out of the charger in D class.

The real place to work on cars beyond upgrades is how it goes through the gears.
