I don't hate him, I just hate that he can't go through an interview without a "hi to my family at home." Him winning means more chances for him to say it, which means I don't want him to win. If you want to say hi to your family that badly, pick up the phone and do so.

I didn't watch as much as I used to, but I watched a good five to six hours of it. I'm not big on Gannasi racing (I'm a fan of Andretti Autosport in IRL), but it was an interesting race to say the least.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Re: F1/IRL/All Other Forms of motorsports Thread
All this hype around Danica in NASCAR.... Maybe it's because it's not as popular, but there were two female wins in back to back weeks in the NHRA.(Courtney Force and Erica Enders-Stephens, respectfully)
And there's more women racing in the NHRA than NASCAR right now... And although there's no turns, they still race at over 300 mph in funny car and over 200 mph in pro stock.
That, to me, is more impressive than what Patrick did.Comment

Difference is, women have been in the top series of NHRA for quite awhile and done well, as you pointed out. This is the first time a woman has really done well in NASCAR in recent history.Comment

Maybe you're right. I was too young to remember back when Shirley Muldowney raced, but I'm sure it was a big deal then, being the first woman...Comment

So the Austrialian Grand Prix starts... well tonight unless you don't have a Tivo or other recording equipment. Qualifying was rained out yesterday so they are about to start up again right now. I don't have a feed, but it should be interesting to see where the cars are at the end of this.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Yea, no way I was going to see this one live. I have to be up at 3 am tomorrow so staying up until now would have killed me. Doubt I'll catch the replay either with California on so hope I didn't miss too good a race. I enjoyed last week's.Comment

Huzzah for the spanish station Uni Mas(formerly known as Telefutura) that re-air the races at 8AM here.
That podium, oh the tension.Last edited by Mo; 03-24-2013, 09:56 AM.Comment

Re: F1/IRL/All Other Forms of motorsports Thread
What's wrong is that Webber slowed down on team orders as he was told that both drivers were to keep their position and nurse the cars home. Had he known Vettel was going to try to pass him, he would not have slowed down. It's a bitch move and the team called him out on it.Comment
