Just verifying that people are still interested in this? Assuming no sudden real life complications, I'll be setting up a private lobby around 9:30 PM EDT tomorrow.

I also did make a custom number font that I can gift for uniform numbering if there is interest; it's pretty similar to the numbers on the Cowboys' away jerseys, and I grouped the pieces together such that changing the color of the two outlines and innermost portions should be easy. I'll take a photo next chance I get, as these numbers are not on my storefront at the moment.

Got my car all set up. It turned out pretty well considering I'm terrible with the whole painting thing. I plan on adding a couple more "sponsors" when I get more time.

I probably won't get home until around 9 or 10 tomorrow (CST), so I probably won't be able to make the race.

I'll do that now. Should I schedule races more often than once a week, or stick with one a week for now?

One thing I want to make clear is that nothing is locked in stone, however; if there's interest in moving races to a different date / time, or having different race types, or a different race track even, we can change up the event list. I just put what exists now together as a starting point.

Just to be clear, I wasn't planning on starting the race until 10 EDT, just setting up the lobby early to give people time to gather and potentially run a few warm-up laps. If 9:30 EDT works better, we'll do that, though.

First off just want to thank Chris for setting these things up.
I'm good for tonight and would prefer 9:30 but whatever works for most.
My xbox sig is Fuzznuts 1968 and would like to grab # 68.

Another possible suggestion for awarding points would be to use the nascar way of giving the winner 12 points if there are 12 people in the race, 11 for second and so on down to 1 for last. Just a suggestion.

I should be able to make about 95% of any races held on Wednesdays(won't be able to make the 11/23 race). I'm usually off on Wednesdays but have to work that night to get the store ready for Black Friday. I'm liking once a week as it gives time to practice and get ready for the race.

Once a week is fine until we all get going. then maybe you add some special events on the weekends or something.

Coincide them with real life races.

I am good with pretty much any night.

I agree with maybe changing the points up a little, so that the people in the back aren't just racing for no reason. Possibly something like in F1 where the top 6 finishers get points.

Another suggestion is having hot lap contests. That way people that can't make the races every week can participate since that's something that can be done on the person's free time.
