    OSFC-AAA Texas 500

Dale Jr tried to wreck everyone, and yet it still wasnt enough to win.

JJ thought he had a win before Smoke pulled around him on the outside.

Texas, Arizona, and Florida. The heart of Nascar. That's where the season will end. That's where they will determine a new champion. That's where we'll determine our new champion. That's where we're headed. That's life in the OSFC.

Superjames managed to maintain his points lead, but here comes Perfect Zero making his final charge back to the top. Who's going to have the right strategy to the end?

7 races down, 3 to go. Who do you got??

    Texas is next.

I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking, if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Finally, don't forget to have fun

I have a truex pole from weeks ago so will someone for the love of Nascar fix that? I may have stunk it up this season but that pole was one of my few highlights.

Dale Jr. seriously caused like four wrecks and nearly caused many more. It was funny to watch live in person. I wasn't sure if Dale Sr. had been reincarnated and jumped into the #88 car.

I only took one picture at the race last week, but here it is. This was taken from our seats at Section 206. I love the fact that you can see everything no matter where you sit at Martinsville.

This was taken around 11:50 AM or so.

Wow that's an awesome view. I wish I could go to the Texas race this weekend, but I've a wedding to go to and the groom is the uncle who happens to be the person that introduced me to racing. It won't keep me from picking a winner, but it will keep me from Denton County.

Yeah I'm at at least one of the two Talladega races every year but Martinsville is a place I want to go to so badly, my wife is making plans for us to go to the Coke 600 not next season but in 2013. That's the race she wants to go to more than any other.

Rumor is Reutiman will be going to RPM. Still confusing as to who will take over the 00. Mark Martin is thought to be going to Stewart Hass to run part time in the races Danica does not compete in, what adds credit to this is the fact that SH announced about an hour ago that Quicken Loans has signed on for a major sponsorship, no other sponsors ate leaving. Go Daddy is said to still be on the car when Danica drives. If Martin does go to MWR it will be part time, since has stated several times this year he only plans to run limited races in 2012. If it is Ragan going to the 00. Does that mean Rousch is dropping to a 3 car team to insure sponsorship for Kenseth in 12 who currently has none? Going to be an interesting next few weeks and off season.

                        EDIT

MWR will announce Friday at Texas that Mark Martin will be driving the 00 on a part time basis in 2012. Michael Waltrip will drive the 00 in the 2012 Daytona 500 and Talladega no other word as of yet who will drive the car in the other races or if the car will be full time. I have to wonder if he could be preparing a spot for Ryan Truex in the near future.

mayfield was arrested on meth charges this morning at his house ... that pretty much puts to rest any tiny fight he had against nascar

Looks like the police also recovered some stolen goods, worth about $100,000. Guess he had to pay for those lawyers somehow.

Stolen goods was said to be from Red Bull, but the more I dig into this the more strange it gets. From the things I am hearing the search warrant was said to have been asked for by Team Red Bull and Brian France, and that the officers knew exactly where to go to find the drugs and stolen goods. I'm not saying it was a set up but I'm not saying everything is legit as of yet. Things just seem strange in this case always has though.
