If that is the case, then i will cut my losses and trade in. Not wanting to have a so-called sim-racer where pitting is a huge part of Nascar, and not have pitting. I hope you are wrong and they attempt to fix.

I think they will attempt to fix it, but they don't have a very good track record after last year. It's hard to believe what they say, they lied last year like crazy saying they were fixing things and people waited months for the patch and then it did nothing. I hope I am wrong too, but I don't have a lot of faith in this company, in fact I don't know that I have any. They won't get my money again, I know that much.

Wasn't Big Mutha Truckers their biggest claim to fame before making the newest NASCAR games? I think that should tell people all they need to know. After last year's debacle of having the game be almost broken at release and then the sometimes laughable string of excuses they came up with about the patches that barely fixed anything I am surprised anyone would willingly hand them their money again.

I gave up on them last year once I realized they run their official forums very poorly. They broke their necks to comment and respond as fast as they could to anyone that had anything positive to say about last year's game. But if anyone had anything negative or in any way critical to say they would outright ignore them or threaten to ban them.

I said I wouldn't buy this years game, but when Dale Jr was announced on the cover I wanted it. I'm a Jr fan so anytime he has been on a game I have gotten it and I will keep it. So as long as I have the game I might as well play it.

I have been watching their forums and they are keeping pretty tight lipped about whats going on. They bragged all year about how great the game was turning out and then we get this. Like I said before I like the game and with a few right fixes this game could be really great, but they are gonna have to prove they know what they are doing.

I picked the PS3 version up today. Probably won't get around to playing it until this weekend.

I went the PS3 route since I have a G27 wheel. The videos look good so I couldn't resist.

Well all that I can say is try to find a way to enjoy it. Which means sprint races with no pitstops, tire wear or damage.

Ohh yeah... Good luck getting your G27 to work.I hope you have more luck with your wheel than me. This game appears to be made with the controller in mind.

Every video that I (maybe there are some but I have yet to see 1) have seen of the devs playing they all had controllers (even yesterday in their chase race).

According to their forums they know there is a problem with wheels so lets see...

Edit: prior comment was not gamplay related. If you want the best A.I racing goto the Autoclub and do a 50% race with tire X2. best racing on this game so far. The A.I was spread out and taking different lines. It was a thing of beauty. No pit road entry or exit issues at all. Maybe they need to look at the A.I from this track and see what is different.

How do you get the whole-body gradient thing on the OS car? I must be missing how to do that in the paint menu.

I used a rectangle decal then made it as big as possible and used the gradient option ti color it appropriately then i place it on the car and used different ones ti do the sides.
