Re: Tony Stewart Strikes and Kills On-Foot Driver

    Question..

If one of the other drivers who swerved and missed him when he got out of the car, had been the one that struck and killed their son, would they be suing that individual in a wrongful death suit?

    My guess is no.....
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Darwin Award: Race To The Death: For most people, the danger of high speed roadways is common sense, and few attempt to cross a major freeway. It is rare for anyone to die from doing exactly that...and then there is Kevin Ward.

Well, we all knew that was coming. I'm surprised they waited this long. Could they not serve him with the suit until he was back in New York State? Or is it simply done just to capitalize on the attention it will get being a year away.

Completely agree with what someone here said earlier... If it wasnt Tony Stewart, but just another random driver with nothing to his name, would this suit even have seen the light of day?

I see this heading to settlement between Tony and the family. Kevin dies tragically in an accident that could have easily been avoided had he not gotten out of the car, walked onto the track, and not been under the influence.
