I hope a few more guys get them so I can see what others think of it. You should also get the demo of Forza while you're at it so you can become a permanent part of your TV!
Does it cost extra for special order?

When I worked at EB it did not, so I don't imagine it will now. They'll just put in their computer that they require one of that item, and the home office should ship it out in a couple of days. We used to even do transfers between stores for items we didn't carry.

Aww... man. I just realized. The wheel is stuck at that 45 degree angle huh? I hate that. I had to stick some binders under my old wheel so that it would sit at more of a 20 degree (ie more vertical). Can you adjust it? No biggie if you can't, but i find it more comfortable when its more vertical.

Yup, it has adjustable tilt steering. You can drive an F1 car or a Mack truck, whatever you like!

I have some questions for you. How tall are you? I'm 5'11" and I want to make sure that it adjusts to my height so that I can fit in it.

Also, how does the quality of the wheel feel? Does it feel too cheap? Does it feel appropriate to the overall quality of the unit? Does it extend the fun of playing racing games on the XBox?

If you had to choose between your Controller S and the Race Pac for racing games, which would you choose?

                          Thanks!

I'd be interested in hearing from someone who has tried this wheel with the new Forza demo. I can tell already that I'm not going to be able to compete in Forza with a gamepad. The simulation physics are such that it's going to take a wheel to get the most out of the game, IMO. I'm not complaining about that one bit though... I've longed for an Xbox racer that was going to reach this level. The problem is that none of the Xbox wheels I've tried to date have passed muster.

I also have this perception that the Gamester Race Pac just can't possibly be a quality product. There just seems to be too much hardware here for $99.95! I would love to be able to test one out, but it doesn't seem that retailers are interested in stocking it, let alone displaying/demonstrating it.
