Re: Official Wii Impressions
Yeah I really wanted one to give my daughter (And yes I want to play too) for a B-day gift tomorrow. Doesn't look like that can happen now.Joshua:

Re: Official Wii Impressions
I was at my local TRU doing some Christmas shopping for the boys last night. They had tons of Wii-motes and nunchuks. I even picked up a nunchuk for Bacardi. If they had a Wii, I was going to pick it up for Skyboxer. No luck, though. I'll keep an eye out.Comment

Re: Official Wii Impressions
Oh I was interested! ...but it's a no go.
Back to square 1.
I don't blame anyone for keeping them. Just irritates me to know 2 miles down the road 30+ Wii's are in the back room at Walmart and they won't sell them until the soccer moms can get some rest.Joshua:

Re: Official Wii Impressions
What I don't get is how Wal-Mart can hang on to these things and have "Launch Day #2" just to coincide with Japan?!?!? If something is released to the general public everywhere, don't they HAVE to put them on the shelves?? There's gotta be some law/rule somewhere about that.
If not....well....that just SUCKS!!!XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

Re: Official Wii Impressions
I may be way off, but I think companies sell their products to stores so by the time they hit the shelves the company that makes them already has their money and the products now belong to the store they are at. So they can put them on the floor whenever they want.
I thought that was how it worked, since there is always argument in sales numbers because sometimes teh number of something shipped gets advertised as opposed to the number actually sold to consumers.Comment
