Re: Official Wii Impressions
Is your wife into gaming at all? I'm hoping if I do score a Wii for me and my kids, my wife has some interest in the WiiSports games atleast.Comment

Re: Official Wii Impressions
No, she isn't. She'll play some XBLA games, like Hexic and Uno, but that's about it. She loved Wii Sports, and was upset with me when I told her it was time for me to switch over to R6 Vegas on the 360.
The Wii Sports games are easy to learn, and the controls are simplistic. I had my 3 year old son bowling with us as well. Nintendo knew what they were doing by shipping Wii Sports with the Wii. This console was made for the entire family to enjoy.Comment

Cool, same as my wife then. She plays the heck out of Hexic, and a little Uno on XBLA. I'll be venturing out early in the morning to see if I can be lucky enough to find a Wii.No, she isn't. Re: Official Wii Impressions
Holic, Skyboxer, and anyone else looking for a Wii. I came back from TRU today and they are supposed to be getting over 100 units in for tomorrow. I would probably check your local TRU tomorrow if your still looking for a system. Good luck guysComment

Re: Official Wii Impressions
I might try to cop a Wii tomorrow also. I am going for the same effect (my wife only played Tetris, Crazy Taxi and Wheel of Fortune) and hope my wife and 7 year daughter old get into this with me.No, she isn't. Re: Official Wii Impressions
I see you are in Oak Forest, I grew up in Hazel Crest and just moved a little bit over the border. Which TRU are you talking about and do you have any info on any other stores around you?Comment

Re: Official Wii Impressions
Cool, I used to live in Oak Lawn and Crestwood before moving to OF. It's really nice here on the South Side. I see your in Indiana now, are you much happier there?
It's the Toys R' Us in Orland Park.Comment

Re: Official Wii Impressions
I can't get the TRU here to tell me anything, actually they've been pretty f'n rude today. Only place I know thats getting them in for sure is Circuit City and they're only getting 15. Target said maybe, TRU said they had no idea. It's 5PM on Saturday afternoon, and the store will be reopening in approx. 15 hours and they're clueless. Yeah right..Comment

Of all the Wii Sports games, golf is my least favorite.
Does anybody know if Wii Play is coming to the States?

Re: Official Wii Impressions
so are there anymore impressions in this thread or are you all still figuring out how to get the system?Comment

Re: Official Wii Impressions
The impressions are mixed in with the "hunt for the Wii" posts. If it helps, I haven't read an impression that even comes close to disappointment with the system.
