Well guys, I should have a Wii by the end of the week, or the first part of the following week. I have a friend online, who is a store manager of an EBGames. He's putting one to the side, and shipping it to me at cost. Didn't have to go the eBay route, and all I have to pay is shipping. Not a bad deal at all, now I just need to get an extra Wiimote/Nunchuck and Zelda, and I'm set.

Let me know if you have any problems locating the accessories, or Zelda. My local TRU was loaded with everything, but the system.

How does it work when you're playing a game like Tennis, Boxing, or Bowling with two players at the same time?

Shouldn't be much of a problem hopefully. I spotted Zelda at Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy. I'll do some hunting this coming week once he gets the system for me.

How does it work when you're playing a game like Tennis, Boxing, or Bowling with two players at the same time?

My guess is you would use 2 controllers. And play them accordingly.

Golf and Bowling can be 4 players with just one remote.

I just called Circuit City, and it's game-for-game. Wal-Mart doesn't have any of the nunchucks/Wiimotes in stock according to the site.

Man, I waited in line at a Toys R US for 4 hours and got a WII at 9am.

Went to CC to look for a extra numchuck and got there buy 9:30. There was a line there and the manager was passing out WII VOUCHERS !. I was like WTF, I could have just slept all night then got here at 9:30am, LOL.

What makes it stranger is NO WHERE did the have signs up or say they had PS3's. This girl walsk in and simply asks the clerk do you have any PS3's. I am thinking to myself, no way they have any. The clerk responds yes we have 5 of the 20GB units. I dont want a PS3 but I was like damn, all the people running around looking for this thing, and she walks right in and gets one, LOL.

Of course when everyone else hears the clerk they al start inquiring about getting one. I got my numchucks and split.

By the way, The Wii sports games are all nice once you get the hang of the controls. I think everyone will have their favorites. My girlfriend actually WANTED to play the thing longer than I did. This Wii thing is a really good idea that I hope they build upon.

Ok so I got a Wii at launch, and my system displays a yellow light on the front when the system is powered off. I also cannot download the updates for the Wii channels.

I have heard that this means my system is broken and that I cannot access the online channels. Is this true?

The mods really have to clean up this thread or create a new one just for 'which stores have the Wii' etc, because it's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack when looking for actual Wii impressions...

Same with Call of Duty 3....if I can't find a damn controller set anywhere, then I guess I just have to trade in Marvel Alliance for a game.

i have CoD 3 for the Wii....if your a graphics whore then this isnt for you because the graphics are muddy and very low res...though the sound is quite impressive...

the Wii remote is pretty responsive with CoD3 and it works real well when aiming precisely at the enemy though the grenades takes some time to get used to since its not done with a throwing motion...instead you aim with the remote and you have to hold down and then let go at the directional pad (youre actually cooking the grenade if you dont let go then boom!)

overall its a good game...though i wish they couldve made the graphics more presentable...

Thanks for your impressions man, I'm wondering what to do...damn Toys R Us and their bundles! My little bro was talking about Super Monkey Ball and I love that stuff but I'm worried about replay value and if it's actually worth 50 bucks. Hmm.
