The Toys R Us by me is getting them in tonight for Sunday sales. They have 50 of them. I am going to get to the store by 5:00 AM. I can't believe I am doing this, trying to help someone out!

Mission accomplished! I went to TRU at 4:30 this morning and was 47th on line. They actually had 127 to sell. The line was well beyond that though.

So I get up at 7, get the newspaper see Best Buy will have a minimum of 18 per store . I was going to wait until about 8 or so, but I said eh...might as well go now. So I get there at 7:15, I am 10th in line. By 8 there was about 30 people there. (they only had 36) They passed out vouchers at 8 and I got mine. We can go back when they open and we have until noon to get our Wii.

I only had to wait about 45 minutes in line.


I also saw if you buy Mario Galaxy at Toys R Us, you get any other Wii game half off. Pretty good deal.


So what accessories should I get for the Wii or do I need?


One more thing. A older couple came up after I was in line and said they had been outside of Target since 5:30am and they came out and told them they didn't get their shipment and gave them a $3.00 off coupon on anything in the store...lol. The first person at Best Buy had been there since 4am.

Also what games would you guys say get? It's for her, but I am going to play too, but manily games for children would be best. I am going to get Mario Galaxy just based on the impressions you guys have giving it and plus I get another game half off.

I am also going to get Cooking Mama. She loves it on the DS and my girlfriend loves it as well. Plus it's only $29.99 at Circuit City.

Awesome. And by the way I like you avatar. Ratchet and Clank is one of the best games of the year!

I don't know from a kid's perspective but I really like Zelda, MySims, Super Paper Mario, Carnival Games, Wii Play (mainly for the extra Wiimote), and SSX Blur (pretty hard at first but is awesome). If you like racing games, either the Excite Truck or Tony Hawk Downhill Jam is cool. I don't have Galaxy yet because it is on my Christmas list but it seems awesome. Also on my Christmas list that I think is good is the Zakk and Wiki game as well as the Complete Lego Star Wars Saga (I'm getting for the Wii because I think you swing the wiimote around like a lightsaber), and I'm also getting the Mario/Sonic Olympics.

How is Mario Party 8? I got it half off when I got Galaxy, but I don't know... might take it back and get Carnival Games or Mario/Sonic

I liked Carnival Games better just because I've played so many differnet Mario Party games. Carnival Games was just something new. I don't think either are much on the single player side of things, but Carnival Games is a pretty fun party game and it does have a few unlockables in single player mode.

If you didn't own a Gamecube, I would suggest picking up a Gamecube Wavebird, memory card, and some used games from your local game store.

For all the Virginia OS residents, Schewels (furniture store) is selling the Wiis for $450, lol.

Is this at the normal price of 249 or is it in the price range of the PS3?
