Here is a "chance" for those who haven't bought a Wii yet but you have to deal with Gamestop. http://blogs.moneycentral.msn.com/to...few-weeks.aspx
Could be quite a pain. If you read some of the comments though some people give pointers on how they picked up their Wii rather easily.
For me it was a case of being in the right place at the right time a couple months ago that allowed me to score a Wii.Comment

So I'm in Bestbuy and some girl is complaining to an employee to bring them (WII) from the back, I hang around and the guys tellin her we dont have any but a shipment could come in. I walk away and about 15 min pass and she and about 20 others are walking around with the (soldout) console ..DANG! I should have stayed next to her...she knew something...still dont have one for my son:/Comment

So yeah my daughter got a Wii (she got a little frustrated as she said it was kind of hard to control) but man that is one fun system. I really only played Wii Sports, but I had a blast with those games.Comment

I'm getting an error message 2-3 times per day: "An error has occurred, eject the disc and turn off the console..."
Usually on Wii Sports, but it happened on Links Crossbow training last night.
After restart it works fine. Reminds me of the dirty disc errors I get on my old xbox.
I'm not sure if I should be calling Nintendo?Comment

I got Zack and Wiki for Christmas and it is a lot of fun to play. It's a nice game where you can just leave back and play in comfort since it is just a point and click game. I've only made it through the 7 or 8 boards, but they have been fun. The puzzles so far are not impossibly hard, but a couple boards have had me trying to figure them out for nearly an hour. Good game.
