ODogg, I am awaiting word on this very issue. EA Sports is being tight-lipped about whether or not we will be able to use rosters online this year. I have a really good contact with EA but he hasn't been able to address my question yet.

My fear is that because there hasn't been a public outcry about rosters not being used online, and if it is not on EA's agenda for the testers to address-- then it may be overlooked again this year. I'm waiting for confirmation and if I hear anything I'll let you know.

Yeah last year it seemed like people on here that I figured would be unhappy said I was just overreacting when I threw a fit about the names not showing up online. Lack of outrage overall could very well mean we are seeing numbers online all year again this year. If this isn't the case for PS3 then I know i'm buying a PS3 soon!!

I will say this... IF the names show up on the PS3 and "not" on the 360 I will be trading-in my 360 A.S.A.P. if that is true. Last year was miserable for me playing NCAA '07. I spent over 100 hundred hours naming players and I wasn't able to even use them online. I don't fool with dynasty mode.... I love the one-on-one competition playing a human opponent.

Same here, the only time I play the computer is the first few days when I get the game, to adjust to the games' feel and the controls again. So we are 100% in agreement on this issue, I'm glad to see that my misery is equally shared by at least one person. I was beginning to think I was the only one who felt this way after last year!

Well, I am willing to do rosters with the help of DK and FK or on my own. I have NOT downloaded the update and i will probably never do it. I have all the free time in the world since i work part-time and hell ill do them since my system isnt tagged. Let me know if someone wants to discuss this---

i have been really debating getting a ps3 (like some of you) since whats going on with the roster sharing with the live community.. while i enjoy all the online leagues i'm in on my 360 i enjoy offline gaming just as much... i have a pretty big gift card and would only have to play like 240 bucks for the PS3. but lack of games have been keeping me away.. with mlb the show due to hit and ncaa very soon i may break down.. ugh..

I have uploaded my NCAA '07 rosters again. I am requesting that no one uploads them to the 360gamesaves.com site and I appreciate the communities cooperation. In addition, anyone that downloads these rosters must re-name the file. This prevents Micro$oft from tracing the rosters to my console. It also is security to ensure that rosters & franchises do not become corrupted.

In the Xplorer program you can change the profile ID.

So can't you just take out FK's profile ID from the roster file and copy your own and bingo?

ah hah.. thats why someone got a corrupted dynasty file of mine.. b/c it used ur default rosters and they didnt rename it..

Yeah that was me. When I resaved and renamed his rosters they worked, but your dynasty file did not. Everything is safe at the moment but I almost feel like picking up another 360 to keep offline to do all the roster transferring and renaming before putting it onto the one I use to go on line with.

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question for FK and/or dkrause -- What happens if you try to save a roster or dynasty file on your 'banned' 360? Will you be able to load it up later on that same console? Or is it only a problem if you try to load the file onto another console?

I have no problem with the saves on my console. The corrupting is when you take my roster and put it on your console. So really its your console blocking you from using the rosters. I could still post them without problem, you just couldn't play them.

Okay that's good to know. I was just concerned that Microsoft had turned your 360 into an expensive paperweight. That would be a guaranteed class action lawsuit!
