I downloaded the Matt Hazard demo. For $15, it better be great. Looks a lot like Shadow Complex.

Didn't know they made the for PSN and XBL, I might be downloading that soon. Shadow Complex is still greatness...I'm still stuck on it at a point.

Has anyone been able to try it yet? I'm very intrigued by it, and it seems like it would have a lot in common with the old Duke Nukem games (with updated graphics, of course).

BTW, Matt Hazard is terrible. Nothing like Shadow Complex other than looking like it. A mix of that and maybe a poor man's Metal Slug. Deleted the demo pretty quickly. It's as bad as Eat Lead was, just without Will Arnett or Doogie.

controls are bad and you die a lot. I mean there is no balance. And yeah he does act like Duke Nukem. I like when you continue he says," yeah just press continue, your not the one getting shot"!

Tons of 1 liners and that demo was crap, it has a time limit on it, can't even pass the first stage, how lame!

N+ devs new XBLA game:

Scrap Metal is a demolition derby style game coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Players customize cars with chainsaws, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, and a food processor thing called “The Pulverizer” before crushing rival cars. The game has sixty single player missions plus Xbox Live online play for six players.

Monday Night Combat announced for XBLA

Uber Entertainment has announced a brand-spankin' new Xbox Live Arcade title by the name of Monday Night Combat. Just what is Monday Night Combat, you ask? Paraphrasing our own JC Fletcher, it looks a bit like Team Fortress 2 ... if Team Fortress 2 were a game show. Presented as a game show and "sport of the future," Monday Night Combat is a class-based third-person shooter, in which teams compete for "the real American dream: cash, fame and endorsements."

The game sports six different character classes, a create-a-class feature and two gameplay modes, the co-operative Blitz mode and the competitive Crossfire mode. This one really came out of nowhere, but if it's anywhere near as good as the trailer makes it out to be, we could be in for a real treat. Expect it to arrive later this year.

After Burner Climax Screens

By hook or by crook, we’ve managed to lay our hands on 26 shots of the forthcoming XBLA port of After Burner Climax. And it’s looking pretty awesome if we do say so ourselves.

Although all the action depicted involves the F-15, there’ll be at least two other planes – the F-18 and F-14 – to choose from in the finished game.
