      Wow, that does look nice.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Downloaded it at 3AM CST this morning. Put it on MEDIUM level without powerups (for now) and am getting waxed.

Anyone have a delay almost like a freeze when you check your friends list and try to back out ? If I am on the dash board or during a game, if I go to check my friends list, it takes a few seconds to get out once I push B.

            Started after the latest update.

It's always had a delay....the NXE added a bunch of cool stuff, but it causes delay. You can't check your friends list quick while in game, it takes too long and will get you killed.

Yeah, they definitely need to find a way to make the NXE quicker. My dashboard freezes periodically for 5-10 seconds and it's starting to get annoying. And, like MGO said, you can't check your friends list quickly during games anymore.

For you guys with freezing issues using the NXE, I'd suggest clearing your 360's cache periodically. I just did it with my console and the difference is night and day.

Yep, you have to cancel. MS auto renews unless you use a card. And they don't renew on the same date they charge you, they renew on the date you create your gamertag. Figure that one out.

This Week On XBLA - Death Tank, The Maw DLC

"Enter the ever-changing Death Tank arena and unleash your destructive power in multi-player, next-gen combat. Equip your futuristic tank with earth shattering weapons and roll on over to Xbox LIVE to join in epic battles between friends.

Published by Microsoft, and developed by Snowblind Studios/Flat Games. Death Tank will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points worldwide."
"For those wanting more from The Maw, Twisted Pixel Games has announced that a new level called "Brute Force" will be launching this Wednesday, February 18 on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for 100 Microsoft Points ($1.25 USD). Featuring new puzzles, characters, cinematics, and explosive action this level pits Frank and Maw against a new foe: the Brute Soldier, a member of the bounty hunters' elite strike force sent to stop Maw at any cost.

This is the first of three DLC levels that Twisted Pixel Games has been working on ever since The Maw development wrapped last year. "There's a period of time where we're not allowed to touch the game because it's going through certification, but there was more we wanted to do, so rather than calling it a day we threw ourselves into making all new levels," explains CEO Michael Wilford. "We've never done DLC before so it's a bit of an experiment for us, but there seems to be a lot of excitement for it so I don't think we can go wrong."

Each DLC level will expand The Maw storyline by fitting in between the original levels as "deleted scenes". "As with any production, there are always pieces left on the cutting room floor that you wished could have made it into the final cut," says CCO and Director Josh Bear. "We had a lot of half-finished story elements and gameplay mechanics, so we are picking the best ones, polishing them up and making new levels that are bigger in size and scope than the ones in the main game."
Exit 2 Also Arriving on Xbox Live This Week

Joining this week's updated release of Death Tank on XBLA will be Exit 2, according to listings on Microsoft's Xbox Live website (via Joystiq). Including 240 levels -- with 30 additional downloadable stages -- Exit 2 should be available this Wednesday, February 17 for about 10 bucks (800 Microsoft points).

The Exit sequel was long rumored for release on Xbox 360, but wasn't officially confirmed until late last week -- quite the speedy turnaround, no?
