Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
How does one surf the interent with the PS3 web browser. Maybe I'm missing something but whenever I access the web browser, it takes me to a web page representing the Playstation Store. I can't figure out how to do anything other than that. Can the PS3 be used to surf site such as this one and other internet sites???XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
I haven't pick-it up yet xrams. I'm probably gonna pick-it up soon. I just need to know if my 1080I CRT with 1.1 OR 1.2 HDMI is good. I really don't want to have any (HDMI Hand-Shake or Video Resolution Issues) due to my TV not being 1080p.Last edited by bigfnjoe96; 02-17-2008, 09:01 AM.Comment

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Is it possible to use an external USB hard drive to transfer files to the PS3??
I'm trying to get a MLB The Show 07 roster file on the PS3. I've got the roster file on the root level of this drive located in a folder called PS3 but I can't figure out how to access the drive on the PS3. The USB drive I have has a light on it that will illuminate when it is connected successfully to another computer. This light will illuminate when connected to the PS3, but it doesn't look like the PS3 knows it's there
Any ideas?? I know you can hook up an external hard drive to the PS3 for backup purposes, but can you retrieve individual files like I'm trying to do??
If the external HDD is not the way to go, what should I use?? Please provide links :wink:XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: Official PS3 Discussion Part III...
Transfer it to your PS3 via USB stick. For those who don't know here are the steps.
1- Open your Flash Drive/USB Stick/Etc.
2- Create a folder called PS3
3- Inside the folder you created called PS3 create a folder called SAVEDATA
4- Download files. When you unzip it you should have a folder called whatever the save is. Drag that folder into the SAVEDATA folder.
5- Then put your USB thingy in the PS3 and boot it up.
6- Go to Saved Data Utility on your PS3's XMB. Click it then scroll up and you should see your USB Device.
7- Click your USB device and you should see an image of the saved game file in it and next to it it should say the save file name, rosters, sliders etc. Hit the Triangle button and then hit copy. It will copy to the hard drive then you can load it when you start up whatever game you are playingComment
