        I should of bought a Blu-Ray player.
        Games (MLB The Show 08, Resistance 2, MSG4,)

        These three games made it worthwhile to pick up the PS3.

            PS3 Firmware (v2.53) Update

            Hi everyone, in the next PS3 firmware update (v2.53), coming soon, we’re improving the way the Flash Player works with the internet browser. In addition to being able to access more sites using Flash, you’ll be able to enjoy:
            • Full-screen mode playability
            • Live movie (using RTMP format) playability

            Now it’s going to be even easier to enjoy web content on your PS3, in full-screen!

                Not really a big deal for me, but nice for others who use the web browser a lot. I just wish they would wait and package up some of these smaller updates. I wanted to get in a game of my Mizzou dynasty in NCAA Football 09 last night and ended up having to find something else to do for the hour (yes, an hour) for the update to download and install.

                In related news, I came home today to find a note on my apartment door saying that the apartment complex was going to undergo a vast internet connection improvement in early January that provides free wireless and speeds about 10x faster than what we have now (which is only slightly faster than dial-up, it seems). So maybe these updates won't take so damn long to download for me in the future.

                                                            That sounds pretty nice. I just wish I could get Yahoo's fantasy football stat tracker to work on the PS3 browser so I could get some big-screen updates on my fantasy team during commercials on Sundays.
