I am in very much the same spot as you guys. I used to buy games much more frequently than I do now and I would end up not completing most of them as I would jump to the next "hot" title" that would come out.
Games I am trying to complete or get more play time with:
NFL Head Coach (360)
MLB The Show (PS3)
Madden 10 (360)
GTA IV (360)
Dragon Age: Origins (PC) (Currently owns almost all of my play time)
Lego Star Wars (360) (My wife and I play that together)
Monopoly (360) (Another game my wife and I play)
Trivial Pursuit (360) (And yet another game my wife and I play!)
Grid (borrowed from a friend, haven't put in the PS3 at all)
Baldur's Gate II (PC)
I have done a much better job of getting games and actually beating them:
Bioshock (finally finished after 2 years)
Gears of War (beat twice to get achievements)
Tom Clancy game (can't quite remember the title right now)
Here are games that I still would like to play at some point, but I won't buy until I am done with some of these others:
Mass Effect (PC)
Fallout 3 (PC)
Demon Souls (PS3)
Crysis (PC)
Uncharted (PS3)
Uncharted 2 (PS3)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (360)
Forza Motorsport (360)
I really have a hard time anymore shelling out $65 (after tax) for a game, it really needs to be special. I am trying more and more to wait and buy the game after it has been out for a while so I can pay less for it. With limited play time, I simply don't want to pay full price for a game if it sits around for a month or so without being played regularly.
Diablo 3 will most likely be a first day buy for me though.
