Just picked up the 250GB last night. The thing is glorious. It's so quite and sleek looking, not to mention it's a little smaller and it matches everything else I own better.

Oh Gamestop, how I hate you. You can't even tell me the trade-in value of my console/accessories over the phone. Instead, you want me to take it all down there so you can tell me in the store. Shame on you.

Technically speaking they can't tell you. When it comes to hardware the computers literally will not display a number without a valid serial number. The only way they would be able to tell you is if they happened to have seen what one sold for earlier in that day or if they scanned one of their own systems, which as a former employee wasn't really feasible since we normally had 2 people working in a high volume store.

well my run with MS was short lived, I put my system on last night and my systems does nothing but freeze at the main screen where my avatar is, wont load anything up at all,I called MS and they want me to send it in, I'm upset, but I'm done right now with MS.

The MS rep told me it sounds like a graphics card issue.

I have ZERO luck with anything this year...WTF

Am I the first victim with this, I'm sorry I didn't wanna scare anyone with this.

Doesn't make sense, the system was brand new.

I think I'm done with MS, it kills me that the system was new and I have to deal with this.

I going back to Sony, I never had this problem with Sony.

not at all, I just think is sux big time that I have a new console I paid over $300 for and it's not working, I'm lost for words right now.

Why not just send it in and keep it on the side for when you get tired of the ps3?

That way you don't keep flip/flopping systems.

I understand your frustration. Just seems a little rash IMO to declare yourself done because of the setback.

In the end it's your money/time, you can do what you want. But I would just send it in and take a small break until it's fixed. Breaks can do us good sometimes.

I'll see what happens when it comes back, I'm still picking up a PS3 again, just for the sake of having a system on hand.

So this is the new one? That is lame. So far I have had no problems, but if I did I would take it back to Bestbuy and get another one. I love that warranty.
