If its true that I can take a existing franchise in a game like The Show and continue it on the Vita while swapping it back and forth then Im all over this. There are times where the TV is being used by the girlfriend, long commutes to work on a bus at times and a long lunch with nowhere to go so Ive got plenty of opportunity to use this.

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
Exactly I travel for my job, 3 months out of the year I am in a hotel about 2 -3 times a week during that 3 month period. Hope MLB The Show has cross platform play with PS3 going back and forth with RTTS, not to mention Uncharted, and LBP has me excited. Console type experience on the go. I will be getting the WiFi only version, I have a Verizon MiFi so I can get my connection anywhere if need be.Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
But If the show did this would sway me to buy it. And fairly early, or at least around the show release date.
I've been playing this one. Don't see what the hype is all about. Fun but not like it's hyped to be.
Haha.... man, I'll bust out a gameboy at a 4 star restaurant and mash on metroid while I wait for my cedar plank salmon and fingerling potatoes. I game whenever, wherever. Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
I am planning to preorder the PS Vita this week.
For all of you vets out there, would my best bet be to order from someplace online? Or place a preorder at a brick-and-mortar shop like a local GameStop?
I am primarily interested in making sure I have the console as early as possible, without having to deal with back-orders or sellouts (I know this hasn't been predicted yet, but I have bad memories about prior mind-numbing searches for available Wiis and 360s at their respective launches...)Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
IDK what to tell you. there's no way to guarantee you'll have the system on launch day because we don't know how many will be available on launch day.
i preordered mine at gamestop when it was announced and i've got it paid off. usually getting it paid off early helps if you MUST have it launch day.
i've never bought a system online much less at launch.Comment
