I also switched back my reserve to the early wifi/3g unit.
I just need to grab a 32 gb card also. Will probably put the 4gb on ebay or just keep as a spare.

        Re: PSVITA Handheld Information

Any chance that can fit in a pocket with a slim case, even deep pants pockets or jacket pockets?

Possibly suitable for music listening while traveling (if it's in said pockets)?

How well does it feel in your hands? I'm considering getting that grip thing that also increases your battery life, because I think that would feel a bit more like a PS3 controller. Problem is, that can't go into my pocket as well...

It's definitely not as slim as I thought it to be. Makes me wonder if they could have given it four shoulder buttons instead.

I thought about getting one, and was like nah, but now I'm like mhhmmmm only because I'm getting a pretty good tax return back, the show, and my job= alot of driving, so it'll come in use.

Just looking at pics of the cases I don't see it being a problem going into a pocket.. cargo shorts etc.. Semi tight jeens? No way lol

It felt good but of course didn't play it long enough to know if it get uncomfortable after a certain time. It is thick enough though where I doubt it would cause and cramp pains.
The audio output must be on the bottom I assume as I couldn't see it anywhere and due to the unit it was attached to, I couldn't see the bottom.

Is it really true that CoD in the Vita will be able to play with CoD on the PS3 and so on. At least that was what a friend told me. The system looks good though, wont be getting it any time soon however..lol.

Yeah it will be a game maching only for me as I have other means of listening to music. Besides any free time The Show will be getting played

In any case I really don't know about the music aspect of it.

No, I have a standard flip phone. Have no intent on switching any time soon; I love this bad boy and despise all new phone technology. Can't deal with anything that doesn't have a number pad and method of screen cover (like a flipper lol). Sorry.

I've had an 8 GB iPod Nano for years, and still have it. I wanted to be able to transfer most of my 30+ GB music over, though. If Microsoft didn't have the patent for playing music during all games, I would just have it run through while gaming, and then after suspending gaming as well with it in my pocket.

I don't think it's really fair to be told "just use the thing for gaming." If I'm paying the same amount for a device that a PS3 costs and can't watch Blu-ray discs on it as well (and also have to pay $100 more for 1/4 the memory storage that a PS3 HDD has), then I'd like to use as many as the features as possible. Web browser, music player, etc. If they have them, I think they factor into the pricing a bit. It's portable, has a headphone jack, and can almost fit all of my music. I think it's fair for me to say that I should be able to listen to music on it and not have to use my phone for that, something which I would prefer not upgrading anyway.

Case in point, if I did have a Smartphone, this bad boy would incredibly lose its value. I don't have anything "fun" to use on the go. If I did, I wouldn't necessarily need to play The Show outside of my PS3. If anything, I think I'm getting the most worth out of it than anybody else here for that reason alone. I'd like for it to maintain that increasingly high value.

I'm not sure how the Vita compares to a smartphone when it is purely a gaming device. I understand you want to maximize its feature set. Everyone has different needs in devices. Why not just wait till the first price drop or bundle sale? This thing is $50 over priced imo since the ps3 is the same price, but this is what you get with all electronics as an early adopter.

This is what is holding me back from going "all-in" on the Vita. I just got my iphone in June last year and it does everything I need. I have all my music, games, netflix, cell phone use, in one handheld. I don't really feel the need for this at the moment.

However once vacations start coming around I'll probably pick one up as it'll be nice to bring a playstation along without having to box up one of my PS3's.

Yes, I take a PS3 on vacations. Don't judge me.

The games I play on my iPhone are fun for about 3 minutes. The VIta is a gaming machine.
