I just ordered the 3G version on Amazon. It came out to be cheaper than GS. No Tax and .99 cent release day shipping. Good deal.

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
Just curious, how does Amazon.com get away with that? The Canadian site Amazon.ca still dings me for the tax in Ontario. I end up buying quite a bit of stuff on the US site as the dollar is cheaper and with no tax it's great. I have it shipped to my brother who works in Detroit.Comment

Amazon has warehouses all over, but they're subsidiaries of Amazon, not the company you are buying goods from, so there is no tax charged.Comment

I have a pre-order at GameStop for wifi 249.99 + 34.99 for 8GB memory. With tax = 304.
I just ordered 3G launch bundle for 301 from amazon. Damn GameStop is dumb for charging 5 more for memory. I guess I will use my GameStop credit of 55 on uncharted and an accessory.
Thanks to user who posted about release day delivery for 0.99!!!Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
Fish (and me too) are actually suppose to declare the amount of items we purchase from online retailers that didn't charge tax on our Alabama state income tax form. So it really isn't tax free, because you are suppose to declare it, not everyone does though... Actually I don't know anyone that does.Comment

I just watched this "review" video...

And it showed him using music playback during a game. I hope this is the case for all games, and he didn't coincidentally choose a game which happens to allow/feature music playback. I know that Super Stardust also allows it; a game which was on his XMB, but not a game which he tested (though he did test that version for Remote Play, and apparently nothing was working with that).
Good news about the music though, if true!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
Tax law typically isn't written with online storefronts in mind. You are taxed if you have a physical presence in a state. Some new laws make even an affiliate count as a presence so that is why their program has been canceled in some states (and why some subsidiaries like Woot charge tax in places like New York).

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
Just got back from upgrading my wifi version to the 3g version at Gamestop with $299 bundle they have. Doubt I would ever use the 3g after the free data, but it will make for nice backup if I want itComment
