Here's to hoping ModNation Racers can patch in online play later (there are talks about this) and that it will be cross-play capable!

If a new Call of Duty is cross-play capable... just wow.

Yes it will be. I think COD will have to be cross play, imagine the COD crack whores that would get this thing to have it on the go.

Well, I don't care about the week early. I'm doing extensive traveling at the end of the month and just need it by then.

I went with the launch day bundle because I saw two cases I really liked on Amazon. The one I ordered ships from China and won't arrive until mid-March so I canceled it almost immediately. The other one is a pre-order than ships in April. As is stands I am without a case, so if anyone sees a nice hard case like the 1st edition one, let me know!

Well, the case that was set to ship in April was updated to February 22nd (see below).

It opens vertically, which is kind of odd, but my only gripe is it only holds two cards. Other than that, it may be the best choice for a hard case. If I haven't found something better by launch, I'll nab it.

This is another option for 25 bucks, though I can't tell what material the case is made of. It looks kind of soft and I want something a little harder/more durable.

I played it for a while, at GameStop.

It was much lighter than I had imagined, but it almost had a 'cheap' feel to it. I'm not saying it's made cheap, but it just didn't feel very well made. I thought the graphics were very crisp for a handheld and the touch screen functionality was pretty cool. I wasn't crazy about having to touch the screen to climb to the next object, in Uncharted...

I said I was waiting on the price drop, but I love new technology. I'm sure I'll find a way to resist, but it won't be easy

A couple previews have already confirmed that you can play Uncharted the normal way as well, so no worries there.

I messed around with it a little more at my local GameStop and dropped the $$$ on the $249 wifi model. After weighing everything I just couldn't justify the need for the 3G model

Feb 22nd hurry up!!! Now just need to decide what kit I will get for it.

I know what you're talking about. I think has something to do with the smaller buttons/sticks (plus the sticks aren't clickable, the buttons aren't pressure-sensitive, etc.).

I'm itching to go back in right now and play it again.

The thing about that one is the case looks too hard, if that makes sense. Like if you drop it (not that I'm planning to), it would shatter. I think the first edition case (that hard rubber) is perfect, and exactly the type I'm looking for. Something hard, shock absorbent, but not easily breakable.

Of the games listed, i guess i'll download street fighter alpha 3 for my free game. Not a fan of any of the games listed plus i can always use street fighter on a portable.

I'm jealous, LOL! Your guys impressions will make it a long week. I wish the FEB had some better items in it. I didn't care for Little Deviants and 3G doesn't do anything for me on the Vita since I have the iphone and don't need another data plan making it almost a waste of $100 to me. I don't blame anyone for jumping on this early though. Can't wait to see what you guys say about it though. Having HSG and the memory card sitting here staring at me.

I'm waiting on Lumines to release, going to get that one for sure. I was thinking of getting a third game, but might not and just wait till The Show. I'm taking a break from Uncharted since I want to get the plat on the third one + it kind of stinks that we would get a new entry in the series 4 months after the last one just came out.
