Thanks for the reply, that's what I thought. I only really get into the sports games.. I suck to bad at all the other role player/shooter games.. Maybe I should wait til more sports games are supported..

But you're right in that 2013 will be telling as to how much support this thing will get. If no NBA or NHL, it might be done for.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Turtle Beach M1 ear buds. Do yourselves a favor and go buy these on sale at BBY for $23.99 IMMEDIATELY if you don't already have a decent pair of headphones for your Vita.
These normally retail for $60, and they are absolutely incredible. I'm talking Beats/Bose quality sound for under $25.
There is also the M3 (on ear) and M5 (around the ear) for those of you who don't like buds and don't mind losing a little portability.
I went with the M5N.Y Mets
N.Y Giants
N.Y Knicks
N.Y Islanders
Miami Hurricanes

EDF 2017 Portable (Vita) hitting North America January 8th 2013 (digital only?)
EDF! EDF! EDF! We are excited to share the news today that Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable will be available as a digital download on PlayStation Vita at the beginning of the year. The game will be available on January 8th, 2013 in North America for $39.99 and players will get to experience all the intense action that the Earth Defense Force can endure.
What is really cool is that Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable is completely remastered from the original classic shooter (Earth Defense Force 2017) and with so many extras, players will truly get a new EDF experience that wasn’t possible before. Players will get to check out seven new levels plus dive into all the action with fan favorite Pale Wing, giving players the power to soar high over buildings in her jet pack and cause massive destruction from above.
You will also find some new enemies in the game, and blast them to smithereens with your choice of more than 230 weapons, including many new ones. For the first time, save the world with your friends in online multiplayer for up to four players in co-op and versus mode.
We look forward to hearing about your experiences with Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable and hope that you can save mankind from this insect infestation starting on January 8th! Good luck!Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I picked up the MGS HD Collection for the PS3 today (already had the Vita version) and tried out the Cloud Save feature ... works like a charm!
I hadn't played too much of MGS3, so I may just start over. Good to know I can play this the same way as MLB The Show.
Still plugging away at Uncharted, too. I flipped when SULLY showed up on the screen. I was starting to think he wasn't in the game.Currently Playing:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I finally got the LBP Cross Controller to work and it works as advertised lag free. I was quite shocked that there was no input delay between what I was doing on the Vita and on the screen. I think this can open up a lot of possibilities with games moving forward.
Come on EA, make it happen with Madden for play calls, etc.Comment

Had a little trade-in credit, so I picked up Persona 4 Golden today. For those that have played it, any recommendations on a difficulty level?
I'm an RPG vet, but never played the Persona series before, so I was a bit worried about jacking up the difficulty as a newcomer. Now Playing

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
If you're a beginner, I'd start on Easy, honestly. Normal is manageable IMO, but you'll probably need to understand the fusion system a bit to not get frustrated at the difficulty. I wouldn't go above normal if you've never played a persona game before - hard can be punishing.

Normal is balanced well, but I remember struggling a bit with the 2nd rescue on the original PS2 game. Hence the easy level suggestion. Now, once I played through P3 FES, I became much more familiar with the battle system and thus went straight to Hard when I got Golden.
The only other thing I'd say to watch for is the massive amount of dialogue, especially in the beginning. It'll probably be over an hour into the game before you get to a real battle. It's not a game for people with short attention spans, but as long as that's not an issue the story should keep you interested.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I think it's a lot more accessible than I originally thought, due to how the difficulties are scaled. On very easy and easy you gain XP and levels faster, which reduces the need (and time needed) to grind. This also makes social links and persona fusion not quite as important as it would be otherwise. You can do pretty well without even switching personas in battle on the easiest two levels.
