Ok, so I had researched all that wifi stuff before, but after posting that I googled it again and found a mention about the encryption. Basically it said the Vita has really poor support for TKIP encryption, so I looked at my router and it was set up to use WPA2 TKIP & WPA2 AES, so I switched it to just WPA2 AES and now my Vita has a strong connection and loads web pages near instantly. Really mad I didn't find that tip months ago. I don't have a netflix account so I can't test that, and it doesn't really help you on the road, but it worked for me at home.

I use WEP for my home network, which probably explains why I've never run into this problem either.

I know it's not as secure, but the area I live in is pretty rural and my two neighbors are the only ones who might be able to access my hotspot (plus they'd still have to guess the hex encryption key)

Yeah I have zero issues at home. Everything is smooth. Obviously when I travel I have no control over those settings, so that probably explains why some cities are better than others.

nba 2k14 is now showing up on amazon and gamestop's sites but only for PS3 and 360...and PC on amazon, no idea if we will get a Vita version this year. I'll keep checking in the coming days/weeks/months

At this point, It's un acceptable for any of these three not to have a VITA title.. complete joke IMO.

I agree 100%. It's a joke and I'm pissed about it.

I believe Pasta had an article that EA maybe going exclusively with Xbox for next gen. So that maybe the reason EA is slowly starting to move away from Sony.

I guess we will know in late May when the next gen XBox is revealed.

If EA is going exclusively with Xbox then we should be getting an exclusive football game for Sony platforms, which would be great.
