Yeah I planned on grabbing one tomorrow after work but that's a no go. Didn't need 1 right now so it's cool. I'll grab one when they get more in.

It'll be interesting to see how quickly Nintendo replenishes the stock. Pre-orders were really high for this, so clear there is demand.

Got a few games I'm waiting on resuming until I get one PLUS a B2G1 used coupon that I'll be using to get a few more.
My WiiU and 3DS get more play time by far than my PS4.
The Show will even it out I'm sure.

Don't know if it's just that time in my life now or what but a lot of games just don't excite me much anymore. I wait to buy used then eventually don't care enough to grab it.. etc..

Playing through Paper Mario on WiiU VC now and am having a lot of fun. Once I get my new 3DS I'll resume Luigis mansion ands Sticker Star.. plus whatever else I buy.

I play the heck out of my X1. I used to play my 3ds just has much until it broke so I to am looking to get some 3ds games I passed on until I got a new system

Just very few games that hold my interest right now. The Show is the main game I always play on playstation so only a month to go

I know some of the games are great but it's simply something I'm going through right now.
Still looking for a reason to grab an X1 but frankly I doubt that ever happens. MAYBE when Halo drops and the X1 drops in price a good bit.... but we'll see.
What I have now is obviously more than enough.


Good thing is I don't trade games in much anymore until a good ways away from when I got them. So when the interest pops back up I wont have to rebuy the games.

I hear you, Sky. I bought my PS4 less than 2 months ago and have really only played NBA 2K15. I haven't touched MLB 14 much as I'm waiting for 15 next month. All other sports games I own (Madden, NHL, UFC) are "meh" and the non-sports games I just don't really have the time to dive into right now.

My 3DS and Vita get constant use. I'll take one with me to work and if I'm not working out on my lunch break, I'll try and get 30-45 minutes in on whatever game I'm playing. The same holds true in the evening.

I think it's the work schedule and other responsibilities that make really diving into AAA console games tough right now. I know on my handhelds I can make good progress in a limited amount of time and that the games don't suffer much (and in some ways are better) in terms of quality and fun factor.

I'm kind of the same way. When I was younger I could play the same game for hours and hours but now I have to flip from game to game then back again unless it's something that's really got a hold of my attention

I'm buying Halo MCC for darn cheap on the 18th since its on sale. I hope the fixed most of its bugs

Now I know the Vita has a ton of indies but so does the PS4 so I feel like I'm good there.

My question is, is now a good time to jump in the 3DS ecosystem? I mean how's 2015 and beyond looking for games? I'm super intrigued by Monster Hunter but have never played one...anyone think we will see a new Zelda, Animal Crossing, or Mario game for the 3DS this year?

That will probably be what sways me one way or the other....

Well IMO if you haven't had a 3DS then nows a good a time as any. Animal Crossing New Leaf is really fun. MH is supposed to be really good/amazing and a game I should give a shot at some point.
Luigi's Mansion, SMW3D, Fire Emblem Awakening, Zelda a link between Two Worlds etc...

We just got the Zelda (link Between) not too long ago so doubt we see another one this soon especially with the just re-released Majoras mask.

For 199.99 and the amount of good games out now I think if you want one.. there's no reason not to jump.

I'm grabbing the new 3DS as soon as someone gets one in stock. Need the bigger screen

So I tried the demo for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the eShop, and I think I actually enjoy it? I've never tried a Monster Hunter game before, so I figured I'd give the demo a shot and played through both hunts on it.

The combat definitely has a Dark Souls feel to it, which is the main reason I enjoy it so much. Making each swing count because of the speed of the attack, learning the animation windup and strikes of your weapon, and getting that timely roll in there. I only tried 2 weapons so far, but each weapon having a unique moveset definitely adds depth to the combat.

I'm on a normal 3DS XL, so the camera control has to be controlled by the touchscreen though, so that's not very enjoyable. While the C-Stick on the new 3DS seems really poor for precise movement, having it to control the camera probably would make controlling this game feel much better. I'm not about to go and buy a new 3DS though.

I was all set on buying Majora's Mask, but this demo has me considering picking up Monster Hunter too. The only thing I'm worried about besides camera control is, seeing that Monster Hunter is a big online game, if I'm playing on the go I won't be able to play online at all and will be stuck with solo play.
