Re: Xbox One
Yeah, it's not great. Can't beat free though. It's similar to Dishonored, but much worse. Don't go in expecting it to be as good as Dishonored or you'll be disappointedComment

Re: Xbox One
On another note, I just upgraded from a 500GB console to the elite. I wasn't planning to but a mate did a great deal for me where it hardly cost me anything to upgrade, I got to keep my original controller and HDMI cable and got Fallout 4 with it. No brainer especially given the controller is very nice.
I'm unsure about one thing though. Planning to get an external hard drive and connect that but how does the elite SSHD work with external drives, if at all. I might have read it wrong but something about how it may help with frequently used files (small SSD) and if they're on the external, will that nullify it?
Going to get a 4TB external but for those with an elite, or even just a normal 1TB, where are you putting your files? All on the external or filling up the 1TB also?
I don't know whether to fill up the 1TB or the external.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Last month we launched one of the most requested features: Xbox One Backward Compatibility, with an initial set of more than 100 titles, allowing fans to take their Xbox 360 experience to Xbox One and still be able to play with their friends, take screenshots, stream and record in-game DVR clips.
Yikes.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Thinking with holidays and time to really take advantage of the BC marketing, would be better than these 16 titles.

Re: Xbox One
Having fun with Fallout 4. It's the game that has started to pull me away from Destiny, until the new Star Wars play set drops tomorrow for Disney Infinity.

Re: Xbox One
I have multiple consoles in my house. I use a 2TB external on my main console in the family room to store all games (not really the main console but it in the main room, aka the storage hub, my home console, where others can play my digital games and use my gold) . I copy newer games I am currently playing from the external to my other consoles, where I mostly play in my office/gaming room or in the basement family room.
Assuming the quote "games load 20% faster" as the truth and I had an elite console:
With my current setup I would keep my main room hub as is with the external and use the elite in my office.
If it was my only console, I would put games on the internal drive until it was full, then I would start moving older stuff from the internal to the external.
However the 20% faster is compared to the normal internal hdd, where standard 5400 external drives are also faster not even considering the 7200 or sshd/hybrid drives can be a lot faster too. Given all that, that's what I would do, but I don't think there will be a noticeably huge difference either way.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I was going to point out this was part of the first 100 BC games, but it's not on the list. It is BC, I've got it, maybe it didn't make it out of preview for some reason.
Uservoice incicates it's BC also - http://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298...-retro-evolved
Maybe just an oversight in the lists.Last edited by mestevo; 12-17-2015, 11:51 AM.Comment
