The new slim looks amazing. I also been told that the power brick is gone and the controller is remodeled. 2TB and can stream NetFlix 4K and Amazon streaming

I heard no UHD Blu Ray player. If there is no bump in performance the model is to expensive at 450...Just my opinion

I did hear that the current xbox one will be announced as trimmed to 279.99 after E3

$279? Wow...they just reduced the price to $300 two weeks or so ago. Surprised that they're not eliminating the current Xbox One for the slim model. Microsoft should try to hit the $300 mark for the slim and just have it replace the current Xbox One.

If MS comes out tomorrow and says this is 450 for a slim down and just provides streaming 4K for netflix and amazon along with 2TB they should be booed. No chance it will sell at that price if they do not surprise us and say they bumped up the gpu performance or something to justify the price tag

Same specs means you are paying big money for 2tb when you can get a better external drive cheaper.

I agree 100% but if the price is what am told 450 they are out of their freaking minds.

I heard that xbox one current will be down to 280 and come with a free game of choice starting soon. Trying to clear out inventory which will not work if their is a slim out

I can see them doing 350 because of the 2TB and streaming 4K but that is pushing it for me.

450? Hell no unless Phil says we bumped the performance then its on

No chance I spend 450. Not unless I'm getting 250-300 for my day 1 and that is not happening.

Is this looking to be just white or what? Seems like another miss step if they don't offer it in black.

If it is $450 and doesn't have a UHD Bluray drive, that's insane. 4K streaming really isn't that big of a deal, what 4K tv can't stream 4K content through it's own apps? The bigger storage is nice, but you can get bigger externals for relatively cheap, the 5TB one I use cost only $130.

MS is not doing trade ins. This would be only gamestop and if the console is 450 they will at best do 250 for the one you have regardless of it being 500 or 1tb and that is still not good enough

MS needs to release a better performing machine period. This whole gen has hurt them being time the wide spread perception of the xbox being just a weak system with DRM which casual still see it as that

Set the console at 350 and have gamestop offer 200 for the current xbox and then it would be ok but no chance as it stands

Also I was told is only in white for now...MS is well aware that many do not like the VCR look and the white current xbox one was looked upon as an improvement to the look of the console by many so they went white

HAHAHA...Am calling my friend the GS manager and he said that he cannot confirm but that he heard the slim also has UHD player which is game changing in terms of price point

If it has UHD player then 450 is a steal. at least if you have a 4K tv

Normal 4K UHD players cost about 500 just for the player

I have a Samsung 4K and this would be great for watching blu rays in 4K and it has Dynamic HDR range. Which my tv supports

I don't get the big deal about 4K streaming. If u have a 4K tv it's likely a smart one that already has Netflix and/or Amazon and 4K streaming.

That is true but the lower end 4K model tvs do not have the best streaming capabilities so if the xbox one can provide that and be a good one it is a plus for sure

My bigger interest with 4k ability is the hardware running better/faster at sub-4k. Anything to speed things up.

Oh I know Microsoft won't do trade ins. I was thinking of the game stop route like you mentioned. I'm out anyways if it's only white. Every single component I have in my cave is black. A white box would kind of look silly. I do have the white Xbox upstairs and I like it. Just wouldn't work in my main gaming room.

Off topic a little. Cortana is pissing me off. Watching netflix and what used to be a simple "Xbox pause" "Xbox play" command just doesn't even work now. "Hey cortana....pause" just has no response after 5 seconds of cortana thinking. Well actually I do get a response she just says "sorry the Internet and I are not talking right now" I'm close to opting out but what's the point if I'm just going to end up here eventually anyways.
