Re: Xbox One
Sony fans on twitter going nuts saying it will cost 700 to 800
HAHAHAHA
MS can gamble with this and provide it at a lower end price like 500 or 550 because their software is what matters and they are putting it to many more customers now with windows 10
If Scorpio is a success in terms of sales I think MS will make bank like crazy in software
I predict it will be 550Comment

Re: Xbox One
One thing I haven't heard from either Neo or Scorpio is the hard drive speed, will it still be SATA2 or will they go up to SATA3 (hopefully!!!!) so can take full advantage of SSDs"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Xbox One
I am going with $600. I also hope Sony says something about NEO tonight, even though I doubt it.Comment

$399 if MS really wants to eat cost and make a push to get sales on this going.
Sony people saying that price is just as funny as MS fans thinking this will actually be a giant leap. 1080p at Ultra is better than 4K at low-to-medium. Not that either of the consoles do 1080p at Ultra-equivalent settings.badComment

Re: Xbox One
They said and Phil said Native 4K resz with NO COMPROMISE to texture quality. That does not mean it will be low textures with 4K rez because that would be compromisingComment

Re: Xbox One
I think you're going to be disappointed if you're expecting 4k with ultra quality.Comment

Re: Xbox One
2K would be nice in some games...4K not something I need
But I am just quoting Phil and you can watch it again
He will be called out if it turns out to be 4k lower text
But we will see
With high end GPU going down in price..Why cant this be a decent price for high performanceComment

Re: Xbox One
I probably won't be upgrading to a 4K monitor anytime soon. 1080p/60fps/ Ultra settings as standards for Neo and Scorpio is my only desire and if so I will happily own both consoles"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Xbox One
Did Phil not say what I stated?
Or high textures and 4K rez not the two most visually important things in graphcis
I know there are partical effects and hair trex whatnot but explain how MS fans are delusional for thinking that this will be a huge leap when their current games struggle to even hit 1080p and some are 720Comment

Re: Xbox One
All models of the Xbox One will be able to play the same library of games, and that includes Scorpio, the original Xbox One, and the just-announced Xbox One S. On Scorpio, though, many of those games will feature improvements because of the more powerful hardware. Spencer cites Halo 5 as an example. While the game is capable of running at 1080p and 60 frames per second on the Xbox One, often the resolution drops in order to maintain a solid framerate. On Scorpio that won't be the case. "When a game like that runs on Scorpio," says Spencer, "it's going to run at maximum resolution the whole time."Comment
