Re: Xbox One
Yeah, they were part of the reason I picked up EA Access for PC, lol.
I don't think I've touched 3, and 2 is so much better than 1 from a mobility and combat perspective.
Gaming ADD has prevented me from really getting too far in either though.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Some talk/rumor of how Scorpio development will work.
tl;dr: UWP games will reportedly all play at native 4k, but really this is about how the broader ecosystm works and how there shouldn't be a need for patches to support Scorpio, the development process put in place for UWP supports Scorpio already.
Still a year away, we'll see how the final product ends up performing eventually.Last edited by mestevo; 11-07-2016, 01:30 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
The games are amazing, here are a few things:- The gameplay gets better and better as the series goes on. If you're a shooter fan, you may struggle with ME1 gameplay.
- Especially in ME1, don't play as a soldier. If you want to have fun, choose a class that's at least half engineer or biotic.
- Various engineering and biotic skills can be combined for bigger effects. It took me a long time to realize this.
- Don't waste too much time on ME1 side missions
- The DLC in ME2 is amazing and worth it (I've heard the same about 3. I played the vanilla game, and own all the DLC, but haven't done it yet).
- There are lists online telling you the order to play the DLC in.
- In ME2, there are so many little things that can be observed by wandering around.

Thanks, this is really helpful! I'm installing the games and DLC now, and I'll probably get around to starting it tomorrow or later this week. The games are amazing, here are a few things:- The gameplay gets better and better as the series goes on. Again, thanks for the tips. I was reading stuff online about the game and it seemed overwhelming on what to do first so I'll be sure to check that out.Fino Alla Fine

Re: Xbox One
Is Mass Effect one where you really should start from the beginning? Just wondering if I can skip 1 and catch up on YouTube.
I find it hard to keep myself engaged in older games, especially ones I haven't played before. Nothing against the series, it just want my cup of tea in the day. I've since branched out more (into sci-fi and what not) and wouldn't mind giving the series a try considering how critically acclaimed it is.

Re: Xbox One
I mean, you can certainly do that. They offered up a transition "digital comic book" to let PS3 players do that. However, ME1 had the most engaging story beginning to end of all the games*, and you get a lot of history with some of the side characters there, which makes interacting with them in ME2 and 3 so much sweeter. I'd try to tough it out, if you canIs Mass Effect one where you really should start from the beginning? Just wondering if I can skip 1 and catch up on YouTube.

*IMO, the story got slightly worse as the series went on, but the gameplay got a lot better, so it really evened out. IMO, ME2 was the sweet spot. I got 64 hours out of my single player campaign in that game and loved it all.?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.
