I've been using a 4tb external Seagate for years and have never had that happen on either my original One, my Slim, or my current One X. Sounds like something is faulty.

Don't have that particular external, but I have no issue with that on my X. Do you have the external drive set to turn off? I have mine just stay on.

When in Instant On mode I leave it set to stay on.

Six more titles are joining Microsoft's subscription service on console this month, including Dishonored 2, Fallout: New Vegas, and Yooka-Laylee.

Looking forward to Dishonored 2 on GP, maybe Fallout:New Vegas but not sure I'll have time with Outer Worlds coming soon too!

I could see a game like Greedfall being added to Gamepass.

GreedFall is a great RPG. Finished it over the weekend. 83+ hours. 95% or so completion. Played on normal but I should have played on hard. Overall, an 8.5/10 for me personally. Great visuals and audio. Story and characters are excellent. Vast majority of the quests are great. Writing and dialogue is good. Definitely a hidden gem and Spiders has a great foundation here and can hopefully improve upon it.

Combat is what is referred to as "eurojank" but it's still good. The skills/attributes/talents and how everything is tied to it is very well done and requires strategy in regards to how you want to build your character. I got GreedFall day one for basically $30. Will trade in tomorrow or Saturday for at least $22 so for $8, easily a steal.

Focus Home Interactive (and THQ Nordic) have personally given me four games at an 8.5/10 and one game at an 8.0/10. Simply better than a high amount of AAA publishers for me this generation and should be even better going into 2020 and next gen.

Started Dishonored 2 with Emily...Question for people:

I've been going non-lethal low chaos...is it worth not killing people? I'll always be stealth, but wasn't sure if the risk/reward was worth it, and there's some cool stuff that kills vs. knock out.

There's still a lot of non lethal stuff so i'll probably continue that a bit, but just was wondering how different endings are if you kill a bit more vs. knockout but still stay stealthy?

*Edit* I found more non lethal stuff (didn't know you could block then choke out) so probably going to try that and realize that a fight doesn't mean i have to kill.

Got to tinker with xCloud a bit tonight, with Halo 5 and Killer Instinct. Time to get a phone holder for my Xbox controller. It worked really well.

PCs would be cool too...especially when the console streaming stuff works. I know you can already stream to PC on home network, but imagine streaming anywhere. I'd imagine it'd also make the home network streaming stuff even more optimized too.

All Access program updated to reflect options to upgrade to Scarlett.

The $19.99 monthly base bundle will include a digital Xbox One S with 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and the option to upgrade early after 18 months. A regular Xbox One S bundle will be priced at $22.99 per month over 24 months, and an Xbox One X will be available for $30.99 per month. Microsoft is introducing a special upgrade offer for the Xbox One X bundle, with the ability to upgrade to Project Scarlett in 12 months time.

I actually might pull the trigger on the all access program for a Surface Pro X, in part for xcloud and the other streaming programs.

So basically, $480 for the All Digital Xbox One Slim model with 24 months of Game Pass Ultimate.

$552 for the Xbox One Slim and $744 for the Xbox One X.

This can't be correct. Does the Xbox One Slim and X come with 24 months of Game Pass Ultimate as well or is it just the all digital version?

Also, im assuming the upgrade to Scarlett would be at no additional cost, correct?

                            Re: Xbox One

Game Pass Ultimate is $179.88/year (so 359.76 over 2).

                            That makes the all-digital Xbox $120, One S $192 and One X $384.

Those are all less than MSRP iirc.

It's for those who can't just make a larger up front purchase, those who are particularly frugal can find better deals (on both the consoles or Game Pass).

Presumably you'd transition to a different payment program w/ Scarlett, why would it be free? Basically bringing the cell phone pricing model to consoles, options are good, especially options that are a relatively good value.

Good evening gentlemen, a quick question:

My default XBox One Hard Drive is pretty tiny, relatively speaking. Right now it's holding Red Dead Redemption 2, NBA 2K20, and Grand Theft Auto and I'm pretty much out of space.

I'd like to secure a hard drive that holds more space but I have no idea where to look, what to trust, and what's most cost efficient. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on that front?
