man oh man, I'm sorry but the M$ spy gate thing has just got out of control here, can we just get back on the topic of games and just getting our new consoles already.

The Kinect doesn't need to be connected anymore, do sell it when you get your system, problem solved.

Whether it's consoles or just the subject, you always gotta be changing something.



Both companies have plans for advertising (Sony patent is hilarious, terrifying), the consoles will be out soon and people can make an informed decision. There's more hysteria than actual basis for conversation at this point still.

Listen I hear ya loud and clear, but the release of these console are only a few month away, I just wished to see more talk about excitement about the games and what not.. That's all

Not anymore unless it's plugged in. Works like the PS Eye camera as far as that goes now.

I just want to play flipping video games. If these resources were devoted to making higher quality games instead of figuring out how to leverage every last penny out of me, I would be far happier and maybe we'd have a good football game.

I don't think the same people that develop the actual Xbox also make games. It's not one or the other, the high quality games still have to be made by the studios/game developers. The Xbox One will still be able to play games on the level of the PS4 so I'm not sure why devoting resources to a completely different department effects the console.

plenty of people were worried about what happens when they break their kinect when it was required...leads me to believe there are enough careless people out there who will break it and want a replacement.

Yeah, we've known about this for months now.

Still unsure how it works - their wording is pretty crappy. If I have to be offline to share with my little brother in Wisconsin, it's a worthless feature for the most part. If I lose access to that game he is playing only... well, I'm cool with that then.
