Anyone every bought the AfterGlow wireless head set? Was thinking of getting a pair but hear wireless ones don't work for the X1 yet and that the quality of them wasn't to great.

They sure look sweet though, and I don't wanna spend a $100+ on a pair I just want a decent one

Any opinions on the AfterGlow?

Now that I look there is more than one I guess? One for $79 and one for a $100. On the GameStop site anyway

After buying a Afterglow controller ill never buy one of their products again. Cheaply made and broke after a couple of months.

Also the Halo argument. What bothers me nthe most is the Halo universe is so vast that the lore can match that of Star Wars/Mass Effect. Theres so must vastness to it that just the Video games dont do it justice which is a shame. Reach and ODST are still IMO the best story Halos released. If with the power of the One 343 breaks it open it could be defining for Microsoft. Yes its still a old IP however none of the games have remotely touched what the universe of Halo can be in a game. Theres so much they can explain like ONI, other Spartans, Cole Protocol, etc that the story could be filled with much detail and depth. Not to mention all the planets and creatures that can be added as well. The Halo Franchise could benefit from a very thought out story for Halo 5, add in open world environments which are rumored and a nice thought out story and it could get back to what Halo 1 was for the original Xbox. /end rant

However everything that I mentioned above doesnt mean that I dont think Microsoft could benefit from new IP's. It be a huge step and I think thats why Quantum Break is so interesting to a lot of people because it is something different.

Engadget rumor - Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to Xbox One this year, collects Halos 1-4

Master Chief is getting a facelift with an HD collection of his exploits. We've learned that Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 are being collected in a Master Chief-focused HD remaster coming from Microsoft. Our sources say that the set will zero in on Halo's most famous soldier to refresh audience's memories ahead of Halo 5's release, so curiosities like Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach likely won't be a part of the package. The game's developer is unknown at this point, but considering that Saber Interactive handled Combat Evolved Anniversary and is also working on an unannounced Xbox One project, the team is a likely suspect.

The multiplayer will need to be like Halo 2 in some ways. But they also need to think of new multiplayer modes. I'm liking what I'm hearing on the new IP fronts and Halo and Gears are getting the treatment they deserve.

Nice. But somebody give me Gears 1-3 remastered. At least Halo is coming out next year. Gears is more than likely 2016. That's a long wait.

Hmmm... so far these leaks from January have been pretty spot-on.

Correct so far:

• Halo 5 next year
• Two Halo live-action series
• Sunset Overdrive details and release
• Titanfall themed-Xbox One that was cancelled for retail
• Titanfall DLC is 45 days from release

Still to go:

• Two versions of Halo 2 Anniversary - collector's edition with Halo 5 beta access, Halo series. War collection with Halo 5 beta access, and ports of Halo 3 and 4. Halo 2 multiplayer, same devs as Halo Anniversary, November 11th release.
• Forza Horizon 2: "Fall 2014, probably September. Super sexy weather system and... tons of co-op/social stuff. 1080P and open-world, so you can road trip with your bros."
• Quantum Break is Holiday 2014
• Fable Legends is Summer 2015
• Platinum Games, Project Nagano, March 2016
• Next Gears of War will probably need a 2.5 year dev time
• No Crackdown 3 news this year most likely, since it's a 2016 title
• White Console plus Sunset Overdrive and a fancy controller in October
• Limited edition 1TB box after that in November

I would love to see another Ryse game! Ryse was hands down one of the best looking games at launch, I can't imagine what they would do with another game!

Thief is on Unreal 3. Not many that I can think of on Unreal 4. Lots on the way though.
