Re: Xbox One
Yeah, I was excited the other day to see 'Xbox One Digital Code' as an option on a game at Amazon... like PS4. And then when I clicked it I saw it was just for the season pass of that game
I'm OK paying full price for the convenience of digital for games I'm not trading in, outside of deals good enough to persuade me otherwise.Comment

Usually I like that option though, and at least let me use GCU when buying it to save 20%. As of now I'm losing money even more cause I couldn't apply that discount in theory.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
I'm only getting sound out of the right headset. I'm using the Gold headset. This is the first time this has occurred. It works fine on the PS4. Any suggestions?

Re: Xbox One
The wonders of modern technology I guess... i had bought a digital code for Unity and Black Flag off Ebay for $35 or over the holiday. I entered them in Xbox.com right away to make sure they were legit.
Tonight I went for the first time to go and install them... go to my games and apps, happy to see Unity and Black Flag sitting there... I hit Unity to start the install process... and it just started up. I didn't realize entering the code at Xbox.com would go and download/install the games for me.Comment

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Xbox One
My feelings on digital is that they need to go all in with it. Make it significantly more beneficial to the consumer by offering something that trumps the positive of being able to trade in a hard copy.
EA, love them or hate them, is trying with Access. Maybe you could earn more discounts by your past purchase history being used as incentive for future purchases from that publisher.
Consumers will move forward with digital purchases if publishers are creative in making content available and easy on the wallet.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: Xbox One
For the time that I have tried it, transferring game saves between two XB1s was seamless. Once I started the game and it starts to load, it will automatically check with the cloud and sync/download your game data from Microsoft's servers. I was having problems with getting NBA 2k15 to run on my secondary XB1 (ERROR 0x800706f4) so after re-installing the game and not having any luck with that, I deleted the game data. The next time I started the game (it didn't error out), the XB1 ran its game save data check with the cloud and it downloaded my data back to the console with all of my progress intact.
I have an external HDD that I switch between two consoles so I don't have to install a game twice and keep my saves in one location, but the system always wants to sync the data when I play a game on my secondary XB1 and vice versa. I think the game data syncing is always in play if you sign into multiple consoles.
