    Prosecuting? Man seriously

Im sorry but M$ need not be defended here, they can stand on their own merit.

No need to look around going OMG but look at them, they jumped off the bridge too!

Thats what happens when arrogance proceeds your customer base. Sony took lumps last year for the same approach, and now M$ seeing more ways to squeeze more dollars by throwing TV in your face after ignoring a host of accusations about always online which turns out is the case. They arent immune.

      What's wrong with prosecute?

      a. To pursue (an undertaking, for example) until completion; follow to the very end.

Used it deliberately. People are taking an assumption (or many), apparently not weighing any of the possible positives, and seeing it through to the very end to justify their position. We don't have a full picture of the negatives - or positives - of many of these decisions - many of which are still rumors themselves.

This isn't even a defense of "M$", but of common sense and for the sake of rational discussion.

Well judging by the simple fact no one at Microsoft could answer the "always requiring internet" connection and multiple conflicting answers was given, I don't think they know what route they wanna take these features!

I'm 150% positive I've check out of the MS camp. It is not what Sony has done to sway me, it has been entirely what MS has/hasn't did. Now, I know many of you that are in the "wait and see" camp view this as premature or what have you. To me, it lacks professionalism and it lacks foresight into how your core demographic is going to respond.

So while I completely understand your approach and others like it. I also see why others like myself have been turned off enough to move on from MS due to how they have handled this console and the "direction" they have chosen to take this fiasco.

Some non-information about indies today, until now MS seemed to just completely forget them with the publisher requirement and Sony's push to make their platform more accessible.

Big game changer for indies really would have been a full Windows Store on X1 that was rumored at one point, too bad that didn't pan out.

What makes this gif more funny is that WiiU sales spiked once Xbone was presented ... hehe, so, makes me wonder ... are you jumping onto the big N ? (joking, or am I ?)

Oddly enough, I might actually get a Wii U over either later this year, but that depends on the games shown at E3 and pricing of these new consoles, and Nintendo actually getting things together like they have with the 3DS. Like I said in another thread, I'm okay with just sitting on the sidelines for a year, playing the current platforms I own (maybe upgrading my video card), and waiting for the software to mature.

I like how they say nothing about their "independent creator program."

I wonder how it will work and what exactly it entails, since they still can't self-publish.

Can E3 be over with so all this **** is put to rest?

To all the XBone faithful: If, by some random chance, we come out of E3 with just as many questions, can we officially say Microsoft dun goofed? That is a question to those who think MS have no issues with the way things are being handled now because they're waiting for E3, just like how they were waiting for the conference.

Not really a faithful, but as someone who actually likes the entertainment stuff I'll answer.

I would have to look at both Sony and MS. If one leaves questions while the other doesn't then I'd have to agree that they goofed. As of now both are pretty vague, so we just need more info. If MS addresses all their issues and Sony doesn't give us concrete details (we know nothing about their online strategy, what the system looks like, etc) then I'd argue that Sony lost people as well.

Has to be sooner rather than later or MS and Sony risk losing people (like me even).

I still don't see myself doing the bolded. The closest they may get me with is Super Smash Bros. 3DS, on the other hand, is actually starting to look quite nice.

Still, I don't see anything wrong with your strategy. Hell I think a lot of the people who are sold on the PS4 still don't plan to get it right when it comes out.

I might pick up one of these systems, but right now, my main focus is building my PC. Still ready for E3 so hopefully at least most of the questions about these systems are gone.

I am playing Tomb Raider on the PC, and all the latest games I've played are on PC.

That's part of why I like the entertainment stuff of Xbox One.

I'm not sure that a "Gamer's System" would get much use in my house. I'd be better off getting a better gaming PC.

Features other than gaming (streaming, etc) help make a PS4/Xbox a useful purchase. For just games alone I'm not sure it's enough for me. It can be tougher to get get "main TV gaming time" for me...

For me. I know you guys are different, but maybe this post will help you see where I'm coming from.

Yep.. which is why if NFL was to be released on PC most my needs would be covered.
Still waiting on E3 for my final decision on which system I get first.

For me it doesn't have to be one or the other and it's all about which is first.

Yeah, I'm normally strictly PC for everything save for JRPGs and console exclusive games (of which the PS interests me more than the MS offerings, plus most of the big ones are multi-platform anyways.)

The XBone does nothing new that I don't have the ability to do currently, and I don't have to put up with BS policies on used games and such.

Basically I normally buy multiples of each systems, they don't have to "win me over." MS has completely lost me with the route they are taking now because none of the extras do anything for me and supporting the precedents they are setting is something I won't do.

It's not about what Sony hasn't done. It's about what Microsoft has. I don't need Skype. I don't need "instant window flipping." I don't need NFL exclusives. I don't want a Kinect.

I'm so against the XBone because I am just extremely disappointed in the direction things are going. Anyone who knows me knows that video games and technology are pretty much "my thing" and I have never been so disappointed in a console before release.

If all the sports games were available for PC and I could do all of the x1 functions with a home theater box I probably wouldn't have any consoles now and wouldn't be interested in either of the next gen offerings.
