The parts that stood out to me (I'm buying both systems so no favorites here).
On Xbox One, having all games exist as cloud-connected downloads enables new features like being able to access your entire library at a friend's house with a single login, or loaning games to up to ten "family members" digitally and remotely.Mehdi said players would see value in the system being "backed by 300,000 servers backed by Microsoft that enable incredible game experiences." -
The thing I'm excited for is if developers start using the cloud for some 360 games. Without the disc restrictions there's are possibilities for some amazing games. Games that would not be possible on PS4 and PC (excluding mods) due to the disc size.
Only how many company's (other than exclusives) are going to go down that rout when developing titles for the Xbone?PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

I'm sure I'll just end up seeing for myself once I have both systems, but I do believe that the current gen online experience has always been far superior on the 360 over the PS3 but that's just my opinion.
Those servers are supposedly seperate from the 300,000 dedicated gaming servers which will be available for Online Multi-Player games.
Not to mention MS will be offering access to those servers to developers for both hosting & Cloud Computation.
This is something SONY just doesn't have the infrastructure to offer. Gaiki is a Cloud Based streaming service. It doesn't offer dedicated game servers.
If you thought XBL Experience was great for the 360, it's gonna be even better with the X1

Re: Xbox One
About the sharing family members thing. Does that mean I can put ____ as a family member & can play the games they own even if we are in a different house/state? Just not at the same time. If so I have a few friends on xbl that buys a ton of games. 1 of my good friends has a 250k gamerscore so yeah, all of the games I want to skip like most SP games (online gamer) would be cool to play.Comment

Re: Xbox One
MSFT will not care that you trade in for a PS4. They already got your money at that point.Comment

Re: Xbox One
"Family" sharing is a great idea. I cant wait to use the feature. Makes me gives no F about DRM, last game I traded in was Mw3 anywaysComment

Re: Xbox One
Actually it's states "Family Members" and up to 10 Family Members.
What's intriguing is the possibility of adding & removing people from this list. If MS allows this the would be ideal.
Also when sharing, if someone is playing that game, you can't play said game also

Re: Xbox One
Like I've been saying... it all depends on the questions they ask. Companies have been known to look at data as just numbers instead of things that effect people.
Their focus groups may as well have gone like this:
1) "Would you like to see the Kinect expanded upon and more of an effort made to make it a viable, high-quality part of our product?" "Yes."
2) "Would you like the console to be more PC-like, in regards to purchasing and downloading games (you can compare our system to something like the one Steam has in place)?" "Yes, of course."
3) "Would you like to see more focus on the entertainment aspects? We will keep what we already have in place with the 360, while giving more features and allowing your box to interface with your cable provider giving you unparalleled control over what you watch." "Of course that would be nice to have."
Cha-ching. They got the data they wanted in somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Bolt, this is something that gets lost in all the other hoopla. MS has invested Billions in Azure (Cloud Based Servers) Cloud Computation for possible Bigger Worlds, more intelligent AI, Real Time Lighting & Weather Transitions

I've been an Xbox Live member for over 8 years. The changes and improvements they've made over that time have been remarkable. In that regard I feel as though Microsoft is head and shoulders above Sony when it comes to online and multiplayer games. Maybe online multiplayer isn't what a lot of you are into, but I know I have a friends list full of great friends online ready to play whenever. Microsoft has over 46 million Xbox Live subscribers as of April, that featured 18% growth last year. Thats an astounding growth number. They know where the industry is headed.Last edited by Dispatch; 06-12-2013, 12:21 PM.Comment
