I don't get how the Xbox One isn't for "gamers." Xbox One will have the exact same games as the PS4. Not to mention their online infrastructure is hands down better then Playstations. Maybe the Xbox One isn't right for you but it's perfect for me. Regardless, I'll be enjoying 90% of the same games as the PS4 with the bonus of all of the entertainment features.

Ok, yes PS4 is 100$ cheaper, but think about all the $ u will save on games due to the family sharing. Those 50/50 games where your like should I get it, if a family member has it & u just want to beat it u saved yourself 60$Bucks
This is great to me because I hate buying SP only games.Comment

Re: Xbox One
This is the exact point I have been trying to make. Microsoft is future proofing the Xbox One. They may not have the hardware that the PS4 has but they have this idea with cloud computing and dedicated servers that I just love.
I've been an Xbox Live member for over 8 years. The changes and improvements they've made over that time have been remarkable. In that regard I feel as though Microsoft is head and shoulders above Sony when it comes to online and multiplayer games. Maybe online multiplayer isn't what a lot of you are into, but I know I have a friends list full of great friends online ready to play whenever. Microsoft has over 46 million Xbox Live subscribers as of April, that featured 18% growth last year. Thats an astounding growth number. They know where the industry is headed.
As of now though not one of my friends has an Xbox One. Now until November is decision time. There is no guarantee that all of our friends are automatically buying the new Xbox, so you and I have no friends on either system right now.
I'm sure both systems will be very robust with their online features. I'll be buying both systems but to assume that Live will be better than PSN just because it was that way this gen is making a huge assumption.Comment

Interesting demand for the Xbox One already. Doesn't matter to me as I was getting one anyway.Comment

There's always going to be a delay in manufacturing for any console maker, but to know which one vs the other this early can't be taken as anything serious.Comment

I suppose I'm saying I'm in favor of future proofing and crazy additions as long as they're something people have a choice of taking advantage of as opposed to having it all forced upon them. Spying theories aside, I feel like the backlash has just been a lot of people who had a lot of alarms go off in their head that said, "I don't want to have any of this thrust upon me." I just think there's a difference between "Choose to take advantage of incredible new extraneous feature!" and "You'll have to do this! Good luck!"

Microsoft was pushing the same thing in the UK, saying Xbone was preselling more, but today:

Re: Xbox One
The X1 is a Internet Connected Device. If this is an issue for people then the 360 is a better option. Or get yourself a PS4.
MS has said already they plan to support the 360 for @ least another 5 years. It's not like how they did the OG XOX when the 360 launched.
Is MS being arrogant, or are they being honest about their vision for the X1.

I doubt anyone cares. That would be like saying you Gears of War can't use GoW because God of War came out first.Comment

Re: Xbox One
@VDusen04 the way I read it MS is allowing you to choose any 10 people on your friends list & put them down as "family" & they do the same for u. So people that dont live by u aka another state/city can share games. Thats not exactly the same as it is now. I doubt u would ship your game to a friend on xbl so they can borrow it. This is a cool feature to have.
Example: we are both listed as family. I live in NY u live in Cali. I have a game & u say is it any good? Im like uea go to my games lobby & play itComment
