Re: Xbox One
I honestly believe theres is something to it as well, maybe a time limit. Sounds to good to be trueComment

MS did say in the arstechnica article that more will be revealed on the "Family Plan" option.
My guess also will be that the Sharing will be time limited. (30 days)

Re: Xbox One
In regards to the manufacturing issues. These are just rumors but some in the industry have been hearing delays due to ESRAM issue.
About a month ago I was told by an unnamed source that Microsoft was having heating issues with the Xbox One. There wasn’t enough details to go forward with a story so it was kept under wraps until more information surfaced on this issue. Today, a completely different source close to the Xbox One project, informed me that Microsoft will have to under clock the Xbox One about 100-200mhz to fix the systems heating issues.
The XBox One may been facing yet more trouble – this time from the heat that the APU is producing. Various sources are citing Microsoft are lowering the clock speed from 800MHZ, from anything between 100-200MHZ. The reasons are due to the APU of the XBox One being large. This is causing heat issues in the system – and heat was the reason for the Xbox 360′s RROD (Red Ring of Death). To further add to their woes, the ESRAM is apparently having issues to – to do with yields no less.Comment

The arstechnica article is being talked about and people are claiming the "Family Plan" lending is not time sensitive unlike the physical lending of a disc which is 1 time
If it is unlimited, WTH didn't MS say so during the conference

My guess for the family member sharing thing is that if somebody on your family list is playing one of your games, nobody else, including you, can be playing that game from your library. If true, that is really how lending games is now, just without giving your friend the disc.Comment

Re: Xbox One
You know, with that whole family plan thing being pretty much the way kingkilla and I were talking about it, they'd probably be able to sell these things even better if they made that DRM check a weekly thing (or even longer) instead of 24 hours.
Seriously, being able to share games like that is pretty awesome.
Edit: Also, you'd think Microsoft would play up the fact that they plan to have games on this system still playable through the cloud for 20 years+ like they originally said. I remember reading that since they have the vast amount of cloud servers, you wouldn't have to worry about server shutdown somewhere. Seems like the thought of them killing off a server is another point people really hate.Last edited by TracerBullet; 06-12-2013, 03:04 PM.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
