Re: Xbox One
I went back and looked again, it's running on an LG 47LN5400
After the second viewing, I'm convinced that the launch titles/early next gen titles will not be blowing me away on either console. Graphically, I guess my expectations were a little high for this early on. On a smaller monitor, everything looks pretty good. But on the tv, I was less than impressed. From further away, it looks "better", but still very similar to this gen.

Re: Xbox One
I felt this same way when I first demoed FIFA 14 next gen. It looked too similar to current gen IMO. I wasn't impressed with the graphics to be honest.

Re: Xbox One
- 3 map points current gen vs. 5 map points next gen
- 24 players current gen vs. 64 players next gen
- 30 frames per second current gen vs. 60 frames per second next gen
Those are all massive, game-changing improvements for console Battlefield.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Just sold my Xbone Target Preorder for $150. Gave my Amazon preorder away to another OSer for free.
Now what to do with my Microsoft order. Hmmm

Re: Xbox One
My decision to go with the Xbox is for the most part due to knowing there will be a few friends also making the transtition for BF4 and Xbox One online gaming. An improved Kinect is also appealling and sets it apart from PS4. So, like last time it'll be Xbox first and then PS later on.
If the PS4 is truly more powerful and shows better graphics down the road, that's even more reason for me to start with XB1. Then I can enjoy another upgrade in a few years when I get my PS4.
But I think over time the games will look similar on both, about as it is now.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Anybody see this ?
At Gamercast we absolutely love limited and collector's editions of games, and Microsoft seem to have surfaced the box art for their Day One editions for three games which will commemorate the launch of the Xbox One. Originally of course Kinect Sports Rivals was set to have a Day One edition, but the game has since been delayed. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I likely will avoid any games that are porting themselves over from last-gen. I might get Battlefield 4 just because I love the series, and I've been holding off on CG. But Madden, FIFA, AC IV, and Call of Duty are all games I will likely pass on.
NBA 2K14
KZ: Shadowfall
Ryse
Dead Rising 3
Forza 5
Battlefield 4
Are the games I'll probably be getting. I was just going to do NBA, Ryse, and DR 3, but the Target deal is too good to pass up on the PS4. DR3 and Ryse are must haves for me on the Xbox One.Writer for Operation Sports
